Sherwood Inn's Vintages Restaurant offers exceptional culinary fare on the shores of Muskoka's Lake Joseph for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Vintages is the ideal Muskoka restaurant for a romantic meal, group dining party or celebrating a special occasion in style. Join us for live music on the patio most Fridays, and every long weekend Sunday this summer!

In addition to the extensive selection of appetizers, entrees, and deserts offered on the dining room menu, Vintages’ Executive Chef will often prepare special menus in celebration of holidays and special occasions including Valentine’s, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and more! Our Chefs and their Culinary Team strive to ensure all guests enjoy an extraordinary dining experience.

Outstanding! Exceeded expectations on every level. Food was excellent.. and we had picky diners and teenage boys. The staff were friendly, helpful and anticipated our needs. The location is cottagey .. groomed location but still in the woods and on the lake.. a lovely singer and games for the kids outside.. boys even fished off the dock after dinner. Before we left we booked a birthday dinner for our family of 12 for Saturday night. It is now our go to place.. our kitchen away from home… and gives the Ladies a break! There were also couples and smaller groups who seemed to have a good time.. a few locations there to eat.. very atmospheric “muskoka” casual bar/lounge..white table dining room overlooking the verandah and lake..we ate there with the boys and they let the boys choose from bar menu.. and the outside verandah and garden which would be great on a balmy summer evening..cottage attire..you can dress up if you like but no need.. wow.. pretty perfect and I am not a relative of anyone there..:):)…just a neighbour cottager on lake muskoka…:)… i hate to recommend too highly because I never want to be told “we are fully booked” but I also want this place to stick around..:)…

The food was excellent! Our service was excellent! Such a beautiful place to enjoy dinner and the sun set. It was our first time dinning and we will be back again!

Excellent Dirty Martini. The rack of lamb was undercooked. The creme brulee was very tasty but there was very little of it. The decaf espresso was awful.

I love this restaurant! The food is so good and the location is stunning. It's definitely pricey but worth it for a special night out.

First time having Dinner at Sherwood Inn. Only 3 couples in the dining room. Dining room is very nice. Overlooks the forest and lake Joseph. Made for a very peaceful dinner. Waiter seemed like he was very new to the job , but he was very friendly and attentive. Food presentation was very nice. The prosciutto/pear appetizer was very tasty. Wife had the shrimp/scallop risotto. She said it was very good. My braised beef rib dinner was ok. The braised beef ribs were fantastic. Fell off the bone. The noodles that they were served with were rather bland. Could use some spicing up. Wine prices are on the higher side. To be expected for the location. Overall we enjoyed the dinner.

The servers and chefs went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed - including gluten free as we are both celiac. Everyone we encountered was friendly and kind. We will highly recommend to others.
