The food and ambience was fantastic. the staff didn’t seem inclined to interact unless provoked to do so, which honestly didn’t bother us and was just something we gave a little giggle to. I felt they were being polite and respectful so I can’t fault them at all. Overall we loved the experience and will definitely recommend to others. 9/10

Despite preordering three of the signature sharing plates, these still took almost an hour to arrive. Our party of 7 was seated at the large wooden table in front of the bar and kitchen. The size of the table made it difficult to share food without having to get up and walk to the other end (or without asking a neighbour to pass you the food which is awkward when served on large platters). A small nitipick: whilst waiting for food, we had two bottles of red wine. Both times the waitstaff did not pour a customary tasting and wait for approval prior to filling each wine glass to the brim. Thought this was odd for a restaurant attached to a 5-star hotel. Food was good - tomahawk and porchetta excellent. Lamb a little dry, but the saving grace was the number of sauces provided to hydrate it. Final remark - the seating is reminiscent of university cafeteria chairs. One of my guests leaned back and almost found himself on the floor when the seat dismantled itself from its legs.

The manager Derick was the most polite and helpful person I have ever had the pleasure of serving us, nothing was too much, and he was very attentive to our needs making us feel special and privileged to be at this delicious restaurant. The food and cocktails were a delight for our tastebuds. The only disappointing factor was one very loud, obnoxious and lacking in self-awareness table of men whose volume and vulgar language was noticed by all and put a dampener on our evening. We are new parents looking to have a special night out without baby and unfortunately, they remain a talking point of our evening. Suggest your team/staff ask people/tables like this to be respectful of other dinners around them in future, as a direct person only out of respect for my partner and his request, I did not go over and say something myself. We did relax after they all finally left, but it did impact our evening.

Entrees were great, we did want to order more oysters but nobody returned before our main was brought out of which they were only then clearing entree plates, fish was tough and we asked for the dessert menu and the waitress never returned. Also only had one drink as no one ever came back besides with food and when there never asked if we wanted another

One of the best meals we have had anywhere in the world. The 2kg Tomahawk was amazing. The staff were also sensational, especially Jordan. Her service was 2nd to none, her knowledge about the menu was very good. Her sense of humour and personal skills were great and added to a great evening. Jordan sets the standard for what your friends at staff should be aiming for.

Disappointed. I was a regular at Vintaged Bar & Grill. But after last night I dont think I want to go back. It seems Vintaged do not manage large tables well. When its just my partner and I its great. When I bring people to celebrate an event its disappointing. Last night I bought a table of 12 (9 adults). All adults had steaks and 4 were cold. It was my birthday event which was not acknowledged as it as been in the past. The service was terrible. We had to ask for cutlery, drinks. I a few of 3 of us did not receive the meals in full (missing green beans, missing sauces, missing vegetables). The hostess walked off mid way through conversation on me twice when I was asking her for champagne refills for myself and others at the table. It felt like The hostesses did not want to serve us at all they just wanted to go home. The did not smile, they were not happy. The meals were ok. But for Vintaged we have had so much better. Disappointed.

Loved sharing the tomahawk steak, it was a memorable experience. Staff were super attentive and made us feel special. Wish we had the funds to do this regularly but it made a special night even more wonderful.
