Really nice upscale dining experience. Great service and food. If I had to critique anything it would be that the background music was a little loud and it was rather cold in the restaurant. But overall, I wouldn't hesitate to dine at Vintage House again.

This restaurant is quite beautiful! I have been there 3 times for dinner and all 3 times my food was outstanding! For some reason we have been sat right next to the bar every time. I do like the window but the music can be a bit loud and sometimes the customers just having a good time. Next time I would like to try another area. We have had the same waitress the last 2 times.. I do not want to say anything negative but would also like to have another experience with different wait staff. My Dad and sisters love this restaurant!

This was my first time at this restaurant and my expectations were very high. I was hoping for a wonderful dining experience. The overall cost was a factor if our dinner experience was fabulous. Unfortunately, my very expensive fresh trout was covered with cream of corn. It was too salty. I wanted a delicious filet of trout not a soup of cream corn. The Ceaser salad had too much dressing nothing special. Some fresh bread would have been nice addition. I was pleased with the brownie coffee ice cream dessert. The noise level was very distracting due to patrons at the bar so close to our table.

Ordered Ribeye for $$$ was expecting a great steak what I got was something that looked more like a brisket. I have had the ribeye before and they were always good. Disappointed with this one.

Wonderful service! All 3 of us really enjoyed our meals. Ran into 2 other couples while there who were talking about how delicious their dinners were as well.

The Vintage House is one of my favorite restaurants. Great for a quiet date night out or for a small group. You can tell the employees enjoy their work and take pride in every aspect of the hospitality service. We will continue to frequent The Vintage House for years to come.

First off I think it’s important to say we were one of 4 tables plus one person at the bar the entire time we were there. When we arrived the guy made such a big deal about how busy they were with reservations, wasn’t sure they could sit us although we had reservations, moved us from 3 different tables because of said reservations and literally NO ONE was there and no one else showed after we were seated. The big front room only had us and one other table of 4. The small back room had a table of 7 that was there when we arrived. Our server was inattentive at best. The bread wasn’t served warm, my filet dish was supposed to be served with a potato that she explained to us but never made it to my plate for some reason. I asked for no mushrooms and no garden vegetable because I’m allergic to mushrooms substituted with corn and the filet was served on top of the corn and with no sauce 🤦🏻‍♀️ was not an “eat with your eyes first” dish. My husband ordered the duck breast and he said he would not order it again and everything just lacked flavor. We’re not from Hickory, we drove a couple hours a way to eat at this restaurant because I followed them On Facebook a few years ago and would share their post often. We were so disappointed that we unfollowed their Facebook page mid way through our entrees.

Daniel is an outstanding server as is Jack, the assistant manager. Everything was wonderful. Our entrees, NC Rainbow Trout and my wife's filet were perfectly presented. We were celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary and were treated royaly with nothing but the professional service experience of a fine dining restaurant. We had a wonderful 2 hour relaxing experience. Continued success to the Vintage House and their staff.
