Vino Vino is located in downtown Sunnyvale on historic Murphy Avenue. Vino Vino is the cure for the common wine bar. Our famous tap system pumps out 13 wines by the glass. We also feature over 30 in the bottle from local Santa Cruz Mountain and Santa Clara Valley Wineries, along with half a dozen local beers.

We were there on a night with street music on Murphy so more crowded than usual and maybe a bit understaffed. They created additional seating for us outside which was great. Food was ok and the menu was eclectic but sufficient to offer many choices with a large wine and beer selection. They looked to have a full bar inside but only served wine and beer which was fine for us. Service was a little slow but there were a couple of large parties that took up time. Overall we were happy with our experience.

We just had an appetizer and wine. Fun being outside with the beautiful weather. Both good and beverages were good.

The bottom line of my experience at Vino Vino is that we left before we even ordered. I use a power wheelchair and there was literally no place for me to sit really. Most of the tables in the venue were the high tables that you have to sit at on a barstool. The only tables that were sort of doable (they were about 6 inches higher than a normal table) were three little tables pushed together near the entrance. Through the front window, I could see a few “normal” tables that looked like they were being used for outdoor seating on occasion, but nothing was currently set up, and it really was too cold to sit outside. Even though I had made reservations which included the information that one of us used a wheelchair, they were completely nonplussed as to what to do when we came in. I tried to sit at one of the medium height tables, but the way the legs were configured, there was no way for me to get my feet under the table. Since we were on a street that has a lot of restaurants, we bailed and went someplace else for dinner. I had pictured a wine bar that served food (and other adult beverages in addition to wine), but it felt more like a dive bar. A dive bar that was not wheelchair accessible.

Too bad they didn't have more help felt sorry for our waiter as he had to cover both outside and inside. It ended up only (2) people working.

The service was fantastic. Our servicer was really nice and helpful. Sadly, the wine wasn’t the best.

Only one person working on a sat. Great service from her but she was so busy and our drinks took 30mins to get to us.

I wouldn’t come back. Server wasn’t knowledgeable about wine selection. Indoor dining felt like a storage room. Smelled terrible.
