We are a family owned and operated country pub located in the heart of North East Victoria. Our pub offers contemporary Australian & Sri Lankan/Indian cuisine, in a charming atmosphere. Enjoy cocktails while dining alfresco during the lazy summer months, Or get cosy by the fire in winter. We pride ourselves on quality ingredients & stock local wines, spirits & soft drinks. Our staff are experienced & passionate about the industry. The Vine Hotel Wangaratta's history goes back to 1864 when the original licence was granted for the existing site. The present day building dates from around the 1880s and the bricks for the hotel were made on site from clay on the property.

Great place for a lovely Father's Day lunch. Good meals, with plenty of history to enjoy. Great to see this little hotel thriving. Will visit again.

Great place to eat! Always tasty food and fabulous welcome! Love this place! And the background music very entertaining while you eat! Everyone is friendly and welcoming!

Always delicious food and friendly, courteous staff! Vikki, Jimmy and Ian are always great hosts! Great place to meet friends and dine! Music played is entertainment while you eat!

Was really good. I had schnitzel, gravy, chips & veg and Mum had the flathead tails with salad and chips. Too big for her to finish. Not cheap but a quaint and interesting place to dine. Staff were great.

Booking was easy on line. Prices were on par with other hotels Food was excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

As usual Jimmy and Vikki provided great service . Always welcoming, you are made feel at home as soon as you enter. The food may not be fine dining but what is on offer is always excellent. Great pub with a lot to offer everyone.

I had the $30 thursday steak special. It was excellent. Vicki and Jimmy are excellent publicans. Very friendly and up for a chat. The meals of the other people in our party were also excellent. Very generous serves.
