We had Christian as a server again he is wonderful. Great ambiance, live music at times, and the lamb chops are to die for!

Excellent restaurant. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. If I lived in New Haven I would come often. Food is fresh, and portions are easily shared. We enjoyed our evening very much!

This restaurant is consistently a great pick. The food is delicious, the service (Christian) is outstanding, Mario always checks on his guests, the music is perfect and the ambience is a total vibe. I will always return here time and time again.

This was our first time at Vinas & Tapas. The food was absolutely delicious. It arrived hot, which I like. The grilled octopus was wonderful! We are glad that we tried this restaurant.

My wife and I went for tapas and drinks. The drinks were skillfully made and decorated with elegance. The tapas came out fast and each one was delicious and plentiful. We actually were full but felt like we hadn’t eaten that much!! We finished with the churros. The service was excellent and prompt. We went early (6:15) and the waiter told us they had live music on Friday and a DJ on Saturdays. He was very attentive to our needs.

Our new favorite neighborhood joint. A small but fun selection of tapas, ideal for sharing with friends over a glass (or more!) of wine. Their main courses are also great for sharing, and they happily accommodated our dietary limitations. Plenty of wine choices by the glass, all at reasonable prices. Super-friendly staff, including the sensational Samantha (Sam to her friends). Live music on weekend nights. Also open late, which FAR too few New Haven restaurants are.
