Vinarius is an Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar in Little Italy San Diego. We offer an extensive wine list with wines coming from different regions of the world; the best meat and cheese board with Italian cured meats and different cheeses to pair with our wines. Our chef Alex makes homemade pasta enriched with our homemade sauces, entrees, pizza, different appetizers to choose from, and desserts that pair well with our port wines and after-dinner drinks. You definitely have to try our daily specials!
Our cozy full bar is also the perfect place to enjoy your drink and food while watching some sports!

Super attentive, so glad we returned! We arrived very early for our reservation, but the owner greeted us warmly, welcoming us back, and promptly seated us. We ordered three of the fabulous appetizers. When our attentive waiter appeared with one huge board displaying the sumptuous spread, he explained that the chef thought it would look best all on one board. We even took a picture as it looked like a magazine spread. Fantastic meal, very good service, ambience enhanced by our dining neighbors who were equally delighted by the food and joined in brief conversations. The noise level is unfair, as the huge music festival Boots in the Park was blasting just a block away. At least by sitting inside, we could actually hear one another across the table.

Wonderful se4vice and food had excellent flavor. I would have rated full 5 stars in all categories but my chicken was very overcooked. I did not want to spoil the mood with our group so just accepted it.

What a lovely experience! The staff made my husband's birthday so memorable. The food was also incredibly delicious! We can't wait to go back.

Customer service was over the top but exactly like Italy delivers. Happy hour 4-5:30 is such a great deal for two. The full menu selection is delicious and presentation is YUM! Perfect location two blocks up from the harbor and pirate ship. Parking lot directly across the street.

Best Italian restaurant in Little Italy! Can’t wait for my next visit! If you love Italian food this is a must stop or you’ll be missing the best food in town! Small space, so if you have a large group please be sure to make a reservation as to not miss out on this gem! From the wait staff to the food to desserts and of course the limoncello, you will not be disappointed.

I like the welcoming attitudes from this restaurant. It makes me feel at home. Service is excellent, food is always amazing, and the wine list is extensive, and the staff are very knowledgeable. This is our go to restaurant for out of towners visiting and special occasions.

Excellent sea bass. Prepared perfect. One of best I've had. Very good pasta alfredo. Service was great. A little loud but reasonable.
