The spirit of Pizzeria Villaggio can be traced back to our traditional roots in Campobasso, a humble town filled with beautiful people in Southern Italy. Pizzeria Villaggio has been run by the Palladino family since opening in 1986. Borrowing our grandparent’s secret recipes and adopting their love of good authentic food, combined with the Italian values of creating a great family atmosphere for all age groups, has contributed to our success and longevity. We have a dedicated & friendly team who are passionate about using high-quality ingredients to produce delicious Italian food.

It's a lovely place, great staff and wonderful food. Sadly the child who came in screeching towards the end of our meal was most unfortunate, and caused my 6 companions to ask "what the he'll is that!". I unfortunately knew, as the last time I was there for Morhers Day, the same child was doing the same for our whole time we were there for our meal. Child free nights option? Or at least no screaming.

Lovely fresh hot food. Good quality. Good chef means good tasty fresh food, good service, means customers will come anywhere. Lucky to live close 😂

Very convenient restaurant. Always helpful, pleasant and efficient service. Food on this occasion not so good as prawn cocktail had far too much sauce and just a few prawns? Also no need for all the salad ingredients , lasagne had very hard bits as if overcooked in microwave. Not good. SORRY.

Good in this place is always outstanding and the service was great. My whole family eat here regularly. Parking can be an issue at times

The menu offered a good selection with both our choices being well presented and flavoursome. We were greeted in a friendly manner on arrival and were shown directly to our table even though we had arrived twenty minutes early. Our drink order and menu choices were taken promptly. Unfortunately the noise level increased to an unacceptable level as more tables were occupied making it very difficult to maintain a conversation. The atmosphere was lively and would probably be considered to be enjoyable for groups but it was not an experience we could recommend for a couple. It’s such a shame as it’s location is convenient for us and we had welcomed the prospect of an Italian restaurant on our doorstep. We eat out regularly but will not book here again.

Really is a fantastic venue. Lovely food, fantastic value for money. Was a little understaffed, but with the wait. Drinks were slow coming to the table, but not worth a complaint really. Noise level seems to be high but again worth it for the quality of the food.

We decided on starters rather than a lunch meal. Staff we very accommodating we actually we able to modify one of our choices. Food was delicious. Service was great we will definitely be back.

The only negative is I can’t go more often! I don’t live in Cardiff anymore but now make sure every time I come back to visit my parents we go. Amazing food, great value and fantastic staff An absolute must in my book And having by how busy it is on whatever night I’ve gone it’s clear it’s a local gem (I highly recommend the white chocolate profiteroles!)
