Featuring a comprehensive selection of more than 200 whiskeys alongside what has been called the country’s best burger, Village Whiskey is an instant classic. Envisioned by Chef Garces as a spot where he and his team could enjoy a drink and a snack after a long night in the kitchen, the restaurant’s focal point is the central bar that is home to their near-encyclopedic catalogue of Chef Garces’ favorite spirit, whiskey. Our able bartenders shake and stir classic and contemporary cocktails in a space evocative of a Prohibition-era speakeasy. Awesome burgers. Duck fat fries and cheese sauce were delicious. Cool vibe and atmosphere.

Best burgers we’ve ever had!! Seating was a little cramped. Cocktails were very good as well.

Food and drinks were great, as always, and our server Todd was very attentive and friendly. We have been to Village Whiskey a # of times over the years and plan on returning again in the near future.

Village Whiskey provided the perfect December date night experience! We stopped in after an afternoon of museum hopping. It was happy hour and the prices were great. We loved the meat and cheese platter - the smoked cheese was delicious. For our entrees we had the Village burger with duck fat fries and the steak frites. Both were excellent. Our Manhattan and Old Fashioned were top notch. Atmosphere was lively and the service was excellent!

We celebrated our anniversary and they were so welcoming and generous. We went on a Thursday evening at 5:30pm in time for the last 30 minutes of happy hour. It was warm and inviting and the drinks and food were wonderful.

A lovely evening dinner. Service was prompt but not intrusive. Steak frites was very good. Steak is only 6 oz but with a couple apps it’s plenty.
