The "typical" American Steakhouse is dominated by a schedule, and guests expect food to be rushed to their table and eaten quickly. Here at Village Chophouse, we take a more relaxed approach. Plan for up to two hours, enoying a sit-down dinner where you can truly connect to those closest to you.

Our organic menu offers exquisite cuts of beef sourced from small farms in the United States such as Aspen Ridge, Snake River Farms, Cascade Creek and Niman Ranch. We also serve premium seafood and offer nightly specials. In addition to our regular menu our Chef creates a four-course tasting menu that changes monthly. All of this is complemented by an extensive wine list along with a seasonal Cocktail and beer menu.

We look forward to accommodating your reservations Wednesday through Sunday 4pm-9pm.

The food was delicious and the drinks were great! We arrived 30 minutes late and we can’t get a table because the restaurant was packed with people. The host graciously suggested that we wait at the bar and get the drinks on the house . The food was really good, worth waiting. Thank you

Chef John is an amazing culinary artist and server Calvin is wonderful. The Village Chophouse is a gem in Sedona.

Absolutely had a beautiful evening. The food was superb. Staff was very accommodating.

Food was exceptional…prices are a bit high but worth the food. Service was prompt and accurate, but lacked personality and caring. We were not asked if we were celebrating anything special (we were) or why we were in town, etc. If they improved the service to be more relatable, it would be a five star experience.

Loved our first visit and our anniversary dinner. Salmon, filet and vegetables were outstanding! So was the service. We’re locals and will be back often.

Hidden in the back of "The Collective Sedona," we didn't even know it existed until a search on OpenTable. We made a reservation pretty easily for a Saturday night (last night), Please note if you do not show, you will get charged $25/person. The place was packed, which is a great sign. It is small. Maitre D shows us to a 2 top right next to the front door, which is a major no-no for us snobs. Especially when a walk-in was given better seating just in front of us. Asked for the bar (granted), and I am sure he was relieved about not seating us at that crappy table, he would have never heard the end of it. Nice bar, hooks underneath for the lady's pocketbooks (bartenders were like, "We have hooks?" We noticed that all servers were well dressed, with vests and white buttoned-downs (very NICE). Ryan was our man! Mild-mannered, attentive, and professional...well done! Ordered 2 martini's, and they were good. Started with a Caesar salad (good), portion was average, and onion soup (excellent), was traditional, but I would have liked a hotter temp. For mains; a filet with veggies and the salmon with potatoes. They were both good, cooked well, and seasoned properly. The main critique here is they were smothered in a "marsala-like" sauce. Now, I am being petty, I ordered it, but it was not exactly what I expected from something called a "Chophouse" Passed on dessert. Here is why. For dinner, they have gluten/dairy free options, but not for dessert. In today's world it has to be there somewhere. Maybe fruit, flourless chocolate cake, just something to get me to stay and have another drink Summary: good food, great service, but a limited menu, it is small, quaint, and slightly expensive ($200 for 2, no dessert). Bring cash, it will save you from the dreaded credit card monster all over Sedona these days! Not at all disappointed, would recommend it. We'll be back, but is it going to make our top of the hit list? Probably not.

Nice, smaller dining room. Full of life when we arrived. We were dearly promptly. Calvin did a great job taking care of of us. The pork chop and ribeye were delicious. As were the crab cakes. Will definitely go back on our return to Sedona

Service wine and desert all excellent. Unfortunately only prime rib available was well done, overcooked and dry. However flavor was very good.

The staff was lovely, greeted us with a welcome. Waiter staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was very disappointing, as the meatloaf dish was burned on the outside and too sweet. My chicken dish was dry and overcooked. We did get a chocolate cake to celebrate my hubby birthday, that was ok. Just a mediocre experience when you’re paying for fine dining. I would not go back nor would I recommend with so many other choices near by.
