The Service was great. Very attentive and courteous. The food not so great. The shrimp cocktail for $20 the shrimp were tiny. The grilled octopus was very tough and over cook as was the lamb lollipops. The tuna tartar was very good. I've heard great things about this place. Maybe an off night, maybe a new chef. I will try again.

Nice place was disappointed with the service felt neglected my our waiter. The food took a long time to come out, raw oysters, French fries, tacos, Caesar salad took forever to arrive at the table. The food was tasty.

We had a lovely, leisurely dinner on the patio! The team members were patient and kind, the food and drinks were lovely, and we all left feeling relaxed and happy! Thank you!

I like Village Bistro a lot. It is a convenient meeting spot for us with friends who live in Cheshire. Despite minor glitches, like receiving a dirty martini I hadn’t requested, my friend’s steak arriving well done when he had ordered it medium rare (the reorder was brought quickly), the outdoor space is great during the summer, the wait staff is eager to be helpful, and the food is quite good. One question we put to our waitress had to do with up charges for our drinks that we requested “up”. On cocktails we were charged $3 per drink for no ice, and additional fees for subsequent iceless drinks. The manager subtracted those fees after we posed the question…..I was reminded to actually review the itemized bill.

The food, as always, was very good. Tasty, imaginative, hot and fresh. It took quite awhile to be served, but it was Mother's Day and the place was packed. Our server was amiable and attentive, even with the huge crowd. This is always a restaurant worth patronizing.

Attended mother's day brunch buffet with my mom + stepdad! good food, music was lively but you could still hold a conversation, great atmosphere all around!
