VILLA EUROPA RESTAURANT brings together the flavors of Europe and North America, with emphasis on German and Italian. One of the things that keeps people coming back here are the daily specials. These could be appetizers like a potato or cauliflower soup or an entrée like the broiled sea bass medallion roasted with citrus butter, served with steamed vegetables and roasted red potatoes. Villa Europa's regular dinner menu has several fantastic dishes as well. Guests can start with French onion soup, escargot bourguignon, Bavarian fritters, marinated herring, cold smoked rainbow trout and many more small plates. The rest of the menu is split between German, Italian and international favorites. Maybe a Jägerschnitzel with German potato salad, chicken parmigiana, baked lasagna, or a fan favorite, the Prime Rib. We have 7 cozy dining rooms, each with its own personality, that can be also booked for private events, a Bier Garten and Bar area which is a favorite spot for many regulars.

We love Villa Europa! My family has been eating here forever. My dad loved Villa Europa. He passed away recently, and it makes us feel amazing to visit and eat at Villa Europa to reminisce about my dad. ❤️

Villa Europa is a true hidden gem in Augusta. We don't live in the area anymore but make it a point to get there when we're in town. We have always had great service and food, whether we had two people dining or 10 (although you should definitely make a reservation for large parties!). The food is amazing. Schnitzel, German potato salad, brats, it's all fantastic! I finally saved enough room to try the desserts on my last visit - and the lemon berry mascarpone cake was heavenly. Highly recommend!

I booked a large part of 17 for Mother's Day. We were seated within minutes of arrival. This was my first time dining here. At first glance the decor is DATED, dusty, dark, and reminded me of an old school Legion/VFW. Wooden wall paneling, carpet in desperate need of cleaning; I'd personally replace it as it looks original to the building, circa 1960 era. We were taken to the back of the restaurant to a party room sort of space that had NO CENTRAL A/C. There were water-cooled portable A/C units spaced across the room and try as their little hearts might..that room was as hot as backwoods Baptist Church back pew in an August Alabama heat wave. Several of my guests (1 of which was 9 months pregnant, 2 elderly women in the 80s and 1 in her 60s) had to step away to finda cooler space. Our drink orders were taken quickly, but not accurately. 2 of our lemonades didn't arrive until after main-courses arrived. There was only 1 server assigned to our large party and I hold that primarily accountable for the poor service notes. It was the end of a long holiday service and she should have had more assistance so things did not get missed. THE FOOD WAS PHENOMINAL. My family lived in Europe 20-22 and we agree the German menu is authentic. Because the atmosphere was less desirable both decor and temperature, we did not stick around long after the meal was finished. I found the prices VERY reasonable. I would have liked to try desserts, but again HOT AF at 8pm in our dining area. All things considered, I will be dining there again because the food speaks for itself, the server (all though exhausted) gave us her best effort, and truly I feel it is a hidden gem in the sketchy side of town. Please Villa Europa, relocate or redecorate. Your place needs a face lift and even the most homely places we visited in Italy, Germany, and Switzerland managed authentic German/European design without gaudy dated dusty fake plants and dark, dank paint and carpet. Bravo for keeping your menu great.

Extremely Hot in the back room. We had reservations a week ahead and could have cooled the room. Needs some modern upgrades. steak overdone.

Enjoyed our meal-wonderful appetizer basket, onion soup and delicious meal. Best was a berry cloud. Light pastry with mascarpone cream filling with berries. Great service.
