Casual contemporary dining from Victuals & Co, Deal. We are a local, independent restaurant giving diners a touch of charm and elegance but also with a casual and inviting atmosphere. We strive to offer diners a friendly, accomplished service and, most importantly, an interesting high-quality menu using fresh locally sourced ingredients wherever practical and possible.

Vegetarian as well as fish and meat dishes are a standard feature on the menu. Kent’s farmers and growers feature strongly as our main suppliers of organic and free range poultry, meat and other fresh produce.

Kent vintages feature heavily on our wine list along with a wide selection of wines from around the globe.

Good ambience and great waiting staff, we were given a glass of fizz as we had to wait a few minutes for the table, even though we were 10 mins early! A lovely touch! Meals were very good, the cod was divine and the cauliflower dish was very tasty. Prices were very fair so no complaints We booked ahead and think this would be a good idea for the summer months. Deal is a favourite place and this restaurant is too, well done!

Haven’t been to this restaurant for a number of years and wasn’t very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. Felt well cared for and the all of the food was delicious. Thank you

Absolutely delicious food, great ambience, delightful service. I do love this restaurant, it never disappoints. Terrific value for money.

Excellent food, terrific service (even though short staffed) the lady serving us worked incredibly hard to ensure everyone in the restaurant received great service, could do with some background music to provide some ambiance, however that aside, I’d highly recommend the restaurant

Great location in the centre of Deal, just down the passageway. Had the new chicken dish, was great but the sauce was a little sweet

A warm welcome on our anniversary. Great food and great service. Will definitely return when we’re next in Deal.

It feels like the restaurant has changed owners since we were last here. The food was underwhelming and some staff's personality too big. It lacked the grace and discretion it had before.

Lovely place, tucked away in a little alleyway in historic Deal, stylish, comfortable, friendly staff and the food was first class. A short menu but what we had was perfect. It even has a selection of excellent, reasonably priced English wines. Highly recommended.
