Very attentive server. Decent sized portions. Great selection of entrees. Starter sizes could easily be served or eaten as tapas, they were more than enough for one person. Great experience.

My wife expressed her desire to eat Italian food - and so we drove 30 miles from Gettysburg to York to try Victor's Restaurant and we were not disappointed. Our only challenge was that this restaurant is not handicapped accessible. My wife, wheelchair bound and I ate outside. It was a beautiful afternoon/evening, so no problem. Our server, Aaron M. was totally amazing - kudos to him. The food was worth the trip (we both had Eggplant Parmigiana) and all around wonderful evening.

The restaurant’s doors were locked at the time it was scheduled to open, and the staff arrived late, struggling to get their colleagues to unlock the door. When I requested a table, I was informed that I could be seated in an hour, despite the restaurant being empty. Walk-ins were not accommodated, and I had to personally research and secure an open table reservation, bypassing the hostess’s information by 30 minutes. This created confusion and contributed to an overall poor experience with no clear explanation. I also overheard other patrons voicing concerns about the apparent disorganization. Considering this is one of the most expensive dining experiences in York County, the service did not match the high standards expected. However, the food was exceptional, and the presence of regular patrons suggests a loyal customer base. The bartender was polite, and while the restaurant has a rich history, it seemed few staff members were aware of it, which could enhance the overall experience and connect more deeply with local culture. Rather than remembering the meal I remember the experience which made the ticket I paid not worth it. I’m sure there would have been a smoother experience if I made a booking prior and had less interactions with the staff. Expect to pay $75 per person with a full course and drinks. My ticket was $130 with tip.

We mostly go to Victor's as a married couple - make an early reservation and sit at the bar. Tonight we had friends with us and decided to make a reservation for four for in the Dining Room. Well ... our friends are from Lancaster County and arrived at our house quite early ..... so we made our way to the bar where Josh noticed Elaine and I and by the time we sat down we had our favorite drinks in front of us. They were quite impressed with that !! Our server was Menh - who knew Elaine and I but had never met Jerry and Rachel. While she only spoke briefly to us while we were at the bar .... she referred to ALL of us by our first names while we had dinner. They were BOTH quite impressed with that - we were as well. Jerry and Rachel have been to Victor's with us a few other times and LOVE IT when we make the dinner reservations there !!

Cute "neighborhood" spot. It was obvious there were a lot of regulars eating at the bar. Made me want to be part of that! Very attentive wait staff. Food was good, and the overall experience was great for a Saturday night.
