Situated in The Queens Hotel, Victoria’s restaurant offers British flavours combined with an international flair to create a range of mouth-watering dishes. A hidden gem in the heart of Cheltenham, Victoria’s is the perfect spot for brunch, a leisurely lunch, indulgent afternoon tea or a decadent dinner.

Head Chef Simon has crafted a selection of delicious menus using seasonal and locally sourced produce, working closely with neighbouring independent suppliers, growers and farmers to bring the best flavours of the Cotswolds, ensuring dishes are bursting with quality flavours. You will find many vintages of Woodchester Valley wines on the menu, based in the Cotswolds it is rated as one of the best Sauvignon Blancs in the world.

Dishes change seasonally to ensure the best procedure is used. Current speciality dishes include a Bombay butty and a poached fillet of salmon with a shellfish and mussel risotto. Do not miss the signature rich chocolate marquise to finish your meal.

Pros -The food was very good and the were very attentive Cons- slightly expensive, especially the starters. Not that the hotel could do much about it but some of the other people there were very noisy!

The food was great. A good menu and the food was well cooked and excellently presented on the plate. But the service was "Apprentice" style. Started with a round of home-made lemonades; the waiter came back after a couple of minutes to ask if we want still or sparkling water in them. Two of our party asked for refills, were asked what had been in the glass and then given branded bottles of lemonade. If you have two wines from the same vinyard on the wine list, the waiting staff should be aware of this when taking the order, not delivering the wrong bottle. We ordered nibbles and mains to eat; we intended to eat the nibbles slowly whilst waiting for the main meal but everything arrived at the same time.

An expensive afternoon tea. Nice setting. The service started well but once our food had arrived no one was interested. We had to flag someone down to ask for another drink which was disappointing. Our water jug had a big crack in it and leaked all over the table. The food was nice enough but not worth £30.
