Situated in The Queens Hotel, Victoria’s restaurant offers British flavours combined with an international flair to create a range of mouth-watering dishes. A hidden gem in the heart of Cheltenham, Victoria’s is the perfect spot for brunch, a leisurely lunch, indulgent afternoon tea or a decadent dinner.

Head Chef Simon has crafted a selection of delicious menus using seasonal and locally sourced produce, working closely with neighbouring independent suppliers, growers and farmers to bring the best flavours of the Cotswolds, ensuring dishes are bursting with quality flavours. You will find many vintages of Woodchester Valley wines on the menu, based in the Cotswolds it is rated as one of the best Sauvignon Blancs in the world.

Dishes change seasonally to ensure the best procedure is used. Current speciality dishes include a Bombay butty and a poached fillet of salmon with a shellfish and mussel risotto. Do not miss the signature rich chocolate marquise to finish your meal.

Really enjoyed afternoon tea with bottomless prosecco. Excellent service and lovely venue. Nicely spaced tables and not too noisy.

Hello, From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by an arrogant guest sat ignoring his small dog loudly barking in the lounge area near Reception, we naturally, knowing how close we could be sat to this noise once we were seated in the Victoria, quickly spoke to the Reception staff and asked if he'd address it if it carried on and he looked cross with the man and assured us that he would. Great. We walked down the corridor to the Victoria and immediately felt underwhelmed. 1pm on a Sunday in Cheltenham, it should he difficult to get a table, but 90% of the tables were empty. We were sat just inside the double doors to the right, where two black shelves sat above our heads - completely empty! No plants, ornaments, pictures. Just empty shelves with a thin layer on grey dust. The tables had no tablecloths and the marks from a wet cloth where the table had air dried were still visible. We had no little t-light or candle and just felt it was lacking those little details that make such a big difference. Barely any cost or effort is needed to create a cleaner, cosier, well dressed restaurant. For this reason, we didn't order starters, desserts or more than one glass of wine. We had our roast chicken Sunday lunch and headed home for dessert and coffees. The chicken tasted absolutely delicious, so well seasoned, flavoursome, moist and the yorkshire pudding was great. As with most places serving a Sunday roast, it's a very rare find to come across a restaurant or pub that can do a good roast potato over a long period, in large quantities. Sadly, the Victoria was one of many that have disappointed us (there have been a fair few that haven't!) and we did not enjoy the roast potatoes as they were quite dry and difficult to cut. The accompanying vegetables were fine, completely edible, tasty and pleasant, but not as wow as the chicken. Nice gravy which pulled the Roast lunch together nicely and it was fine for a pretty decent Sunday roast, for £21.

Rather disappointing unfortunately. Friendly service but unremarkable food. There are better options available nearby for similar money. Won't be returning.

Victoria's is a lovely place to eat, we've recently had their afternoon tea which was great value for money and very nicely presented and also a Sunday roast lunch which again was very delicious and filling.

Thankyou for a lovely meal. We had relatives over from Australia and wanted somewhere a bit special and Victorias hit the spot! Lovely decor , comfortable seats , proper napkins ( don’t laugh most places you get paper) . Our waitress , whose name I forgot to ask, was attentive and pleasant . Overall a good experience . Well done .
