Food was absolutely disgusting. If you want microwave meals then this is the place to go. Sunday lunch haha what can I say. Meat with instant mash, carrots, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. No green veg seen on any plates like it was advertised in the picture. Most of the food was cold apart from the roasties. The fish was made up of just batter. You would have got more fish in a fish finger. The service was shocking too as one meal was brought out at a time. I had to get my own condiments from the cupboard too as none was provided. For what we paid it wasn’t worth my time. Will not be returning at all.

Had a lovely fish and chips mushy peas tartare sauce and lemon, very nice great chips, snd steak and ale pie also great with good size portions and this was a bargain on 50% off night along with two binoff sundaes all for £15 for all, beer reasonably priced too, landlord very attentive and looking after his customers he offered us both a free drink as meal a little late due to hiccup with ticket machine which was very good of him, we’re not greedy snd just asked for one half of fosters. Then on way out gave us notices saying 25% off everything till end November

We arrived at Victoria pub after booking a table for 2 to be advised the chef had left at so no food. I asked why I hadn't been contacted as they had my mobile number? Reply was..the booking would have gone through to the landlady's email, then a shrug! I explained I am diabetic so needed to eat and take medication and as we had been dropped off by uber taxi was stuck. We ended up going to Newton Grill where the food was lovely. So glad we never gave our Hard earned cash to an establishment that doesn't care about its customers. They are advertising a new menu on 26th july but whats the point if the food availability times are not adhered to. If you are thinking of booking...don't bother. Go to Newton Grill or the Hacienda Mexican restaurant where your cash will be gladly received

Chicken was dry and beef was very fatty. ice cream tasted like coffee, and custards was watery sticky toffee pudding was ok gammon was ok veg was lovely, gravy was nice.dribk was very reasonable

It was Mothers Day, no atmosphere, at one point only us in the ‘restaurant’. My daughter and I had the roast beef which was awful, dry and hard. We didn’t complain as we just wanted to go. The place generally was very run down, noticed one of the long seats in the bar had multiple slash’s. We wouldn’t recommend. Their website does not portray the place as it really is. Needless to say we will not return.

Got to the restaurant and they had no idea we were coming due to them not using the app so the traditional family meal was ruined

I went to watch the Watford vs liverpool football match with my brother and boyfriend. We got food and drinks, the food was lovely and the drinks were great. We will definitely return again next time the pub shows a Liverpool game
