Le Via Vite est un bistro italien contemporain situé au cœur du centre-ville de Cincinnati, sur la place de la Fontaine. Notre menu propose un choix créatif de cuisine italienne préparée par le chef Cristian, en utilisant les meilleurs ingrédients disponibles localement. The food was very good, and the entire menu was amazing. My only issue was with the service. Initially, they seated us at the wrong table, which was uncomfortable. We had to move upstairs after getting settled in another spot. They should have just allowed us to stay there since the place wasn't busy at all. Additionally, they brought us the bill without asking, even though we hadn't exceeded the recommended time for dining. This made us feel pressured to leave before we were ready. Overall, the food is fantastic, and the location is very convenient, but the service affected my experience negatively. I will definitely come back to try again, and I hope the service is better next time.

Great holiday pre fixe menu. Service was good at bar before dinner and our server and support staff were on point. Food quality generally high and good value. Dessert textures/flavors a bit off. Overall, lovely experience and we would dine here again.

Most of the dishes on the new years experience were sub par. Specifically the halibut ciopinno. The fish tasted like chicken, was dry and the base tasted mostly like ketchup. Out of the 8 dishes we tried we only preferred two. Gnocchi did not go well with the duck. Good on their own, just not together. However we really enjoyed the prime beef filet and the roasted beet and kale salad. The desert was...okay. In addition to having sparkling water and two cocktails, in total, we spent a little over $300. We would've felt more at peace if this was a $150 experience. We have had $300 experiences elsewhere that left us speechless. Above all, our server Priscilla was very sweet, kind and attentive and we enjoyed her service.

We had a 4 course meal New Year’s Eve . Every course was amazing. Great service ! A great way to end 2024

The food quality and taste was terrible. Totally disappointed. The only tasty course was the beet and kale salad. Lovely. The risotto was absolutely awful. Have no idea what the attempt was there. My husband’s fish entree was terrible. When they initially served my filet of beef, it appeared as a rare lukewarm piece of flesh soaked in blood. Not kidding. I can’t believe that dish left the kitchen in that state! I wasn’t asked how I wanted my steak prepared, so I assumed it was a one size fits all. When she delivered that to my table, I sent it back. The benefit of doing that was that it was at least hot, and yes, a bit overcooked. But much preferred (visually) to what was initially served. The desserts were not good either. One would have thought that by offering such a limited menu, that each one would be at the top of their game. That was in no way the case. An incredible disappointment for New Year’s Eve. Last time we’ll patronize Via Vite, I’m afraid. We were looking forward to a nice experience which we had a couple of years ago, and in no way, did it stand up.

Via Vite was a treat! The atmosphere is quiet and upscale. The tables are set very beautifully with a candlelight glow. Most people had on dressy clothes, although jeans and a nice shirt are acceptable too. I had the Gnocchi with grilled chicken. It was outstanding! We also tried the Risotto crispy balls for our appetizer and they were great. Our favorite thing was the Ricotta Donuts! Wow those are soooo good. We are still talking about them! Via Vite is a must try.

Food, service and ambiance were all wonderful. Except one bread slice was overly seasoned (by accident, I’m sure). It made both my wife and I choke within a few months of each other.

We had a group from Atlanta in for a wedding and it was outstanding. Katrina our server was tremendous. Would go back monthly if I lived in Cincinnati
