Sitting atop the hill of Seattle's famed Queen Anne neighborhood can be found Via Tribunali, a true taste of southern Italy. This establishment is known for its traditional menu, which features one of the most authentic Neapolitan pizzas found outside of Naples itself. Using only fresh ingredients, the chefs at Via Tribunali rotate menu items to match the flavors of the season, giving diners the opportunity to experience real Naples cooking.Although its creative homemade pizza, like frutti di mare made with clams and mussels or Tomo 17 featuring Italian tuna, is what sets Via Tribunali apart on the Seattle culinary scene, the restaurant also offers a variety of Naples specialties. The menu sports such unique dishes as spagetti alle vongole graced with oven-roasted clams and lasagna created with house-made meat ragu.

We made a reservation for a large group and were seated very promptly. The food was mostly good (the pizzas and salads were very good, the pastas were pretty bad - underseasoned, basically just noodles and butter, and those members with dietary restrictions received incorrect orders). The main issue was that it took our waiter a very long time to take our order, he couldn't remember which dishes went where or what they were, and it took us over 35 minutes to find him to get the check, which he didn't split properly. I think this is probably a great place to go for a smaller group, or just make sure you have a different waiter!

I love this place and have been coming here since it opened. The food is still fantastic, best tiramisu in Seattle. However, the service was a bit inattentive. I also had an aperol spritz and it was the tiniest, weakest one I’ve ever had and it was $15. The price was pretty standard, but it was like 1/2 the size of a normal one (I’ve had one here before and it was not this tiny.) and had very little aperol. It should be a 3-2-1 ratio, Prosecco 3, aperol 2, soda 1. But this was more like 2-1-3. But overall I still love it here.

Great spot for a more relaxed NYE dinner. Super friendly staff and good food. Loved the arugula salad and the focaccia. Nice skills behind the bar too.

Overall the dining experience was excellent. Our table was upstairs, and it was a little dark even to read the menu. Previously, we’ve always had a table downstairs. Our guests enjoyed the pizza and the Salumi Misto appetizer. Fabulous pizza!
