The Caesar salad was mediocre. The menu had veal Parmesan and swordfish picatta-but when the chef was asked if she would do veal picatta, she refused. Most chefs will happily oblige guests when they have the ingredients in the kitchen.

Absolutely outstanding food and service. We loved every bit of our dining experience at Via Sophia. The only regret is that we didn’t try this restaurant sooner. We’ll definitely return in the near future.

This restaurant was “ok” considering some Italian restaurant experiences I’ve had elsewhere. Ceasar salad was the highlight, Cavatelli was good, not great, a bit salty to the taste. I found the mousse cake lacking a bit of flavor. The tables for 2 were quite wide so it wasn’t as intimate as I like. In the end we weren’t unhappy but probably wouldn’t be a repeat customer.

Cauliflower app was wonderful. Duck entree a bit overdone . Service was a little slow . But overall it was enjoyable enough to visit again in the future

Excellent food and atmosphere for a very reasonable price. Service is very good, decor is stylish and welcoming. Fun crowd - lively but you can still hold a conversation. One of our favorite spots in Kennebunk.
