Servers were great even though it was busy for Valentine’s Day. Most course were good, our risotto was a bit of a let down, even texture brought down the wonderful flavor in the sauce. The cracker in the first course a was too large for the meatballs and didn’t quite match well.

Hands down the best meal in the city I’ve had in years. From the service to the food and drinks, everything was spot on. Can’t wait to come back!

This is the best restaurant I have been to (across many fancy places in Asia, America/Canada, and Europe). I cannot stress enough the impeccable taste of the food, where each bite reveals the minute details and craft put into the dish, combined with an excellent selection of materials and ingredients. The cozy family vibe of the restaurant is also very pleasing for a night out, and especially a date. This is the peak of dining Boston, and certainly the finest Italian place I have ever been to. Not to mention that the servers are all very excellent, and clearly respect their job and the restaurant. Their baked goods are also extremely appealing, and my wife was staring at it the whole time (we bought a few pastries!) and their bread is so unique tasting! 11/10. I beg every foodie to check out the place if you can. We will be back very soon.

First of all, the food was absolutely fantastic. They were out of short rib so we settled for the chicken. I almost never look forward to eating chicken at a restaurant, but this was very delicious. What was very disappointing was the service. It seems that we arrived in the middle of a shift change, with our server leaving after we ordered our appetizer course. This in itself was fine, except that we did not seem to be assigned to anyone else. After a very long wait, with empty plates and glasses, we eventually had to actively work to flag someone over to order our entrees. We had to continue flagging people over until the end of the night until it seemed that one of the remaining servers finally took us on. We do intend to return (we really want to try the pizza!) and are hopeful that this was a one off situation.

This is the very best experience I have had in a restaurant in a long time! The atmosphere the staff and most of all the food cannot recommend this place and all its ambience any higher it’s definitely a 5 star rating! Make reservations before you go!!

Fantastic spot-Roman food with neighborhood feel. Been there many times and never disappointed. Bianca Pizza with burrata, mortadella and pistachios was dreamlike, with a crisp bottom and pleasant chew… so good. Incredible Cesar salad, very different and large enough to split. Great cocktails and wine list.

Stefano and his team have put together an outstanding menu, stellar customer service, and such a warm space and place. The mussels were outstanding, bursting with flavor and simply yummy. In addition, the octopus salad fresh, had a wonderful mix of flavor and texture. The risotto was spicy and flavorful in the best way possible. This place is absolutely fantastic. I am proud that we have a place in Dorchester like this that we get to call our own. Keep shining your light Via Cannuccia team! We see you!

The food was OUTSTANDING, the quality was fresh and the dishes were unique. Very small issues with our dining - We had a table reserved for 8pm on Friday night, but we were not told from our waitress that the restaurant closes at 9pm. We quickly learned this as we were somewhat rushed to order and people were filing out of the restaurant. However, other tables were still sat after us. The staff was cleaning and closing everything by 9pm (again, no mention of them closing but I googled it when the cleaning began). To close at 9pm on a Friday is kinda crazy, also to not mention that when you sit your guests is odd. Additionally, the entire place was very smoky inside, it hurt my eyes, and I smelt like a campfire when I got home. Not sure if it’s always like that. Even still, I will be back for the amazing food!!
