Via Allegro boasts one of the largest selections of wines in North America and is the winner of the Wine Spectator Grand Award, one of ninety three in the entire world.

For classic pasta and risotto dishes, check out the truffled mushroom risotto or the taglietelle bolognese. For a more classically inspired entrée, you will enjoy the, whole fresh fish branzino or the lamb rack.

The mushroom risotto was overly salty and the brussels sprouts were hardly even cooked and barely charred. Definitely need a few more minutes to cook. Regarding the service, the server seemed to be very judgemental and demeaning, but miraculously, when we asked for the bill, she started to become quite nice

Exceptional service from all staff members. The ambiance was exquisite. The food was amazing. Everything in the menu was to die for.

Haven’t been here for 20 or so years and unfortunately I will not be coming back. Value for money is not there and the quality of the food was honestly mediocre. My wife ordered the $74 Chilean Sea bass and asked for Rapini to replace her Risotto. Simple enough request. The rapini was a complete salt bomb. We sent it back and by the time it was as replaced, we had long finished our meal. In her case - a very small piece of fish. Then the server tried to defend the first batch of rapini saying that salt is always added and it’s normal.. While that is what I would normally expect for a dish but they obviously did not try it as it was literally drowning in salt. My dishes were ok but definitely nothing to write home about. My starter was the soup of the day - pasta fagiole - mediocre at best. My main was the cavatelli which wasn’t bad except they rapini in the dish disintegrated as it was as mushy as could be. Way better Italian food in this city. I actually felt ripped off. There is no passion or pride in the product they are pushing out. The sad thing is that we had to go to another restaurant right after to fill up. The only reason we are here in the first place is we wanted something decent that was close to the airport as we were staying overnight waiting for a flight out in the morning. For the prices they charge I expected one of the following: either high quality food or a larger portion - I got neither. I have nothing against the place but feel I had to leave feedback of my experience.

You are truly transformed into another reality walking into this restaurant VS what you would expect from the outside plaza it is in. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. A great place to celebrate a special occasion and a wide selection of stunning wine.

Nice ambience. Service was good. The appetizers were amazing. The tuna tartare and calamari were great! Main courses were just ok. A little bland. But worth the price. Great wines!
