Le restaurant Mélisse du chef Josiah Citrin, récompensé par deux étoiles Michelin, propose de luxueux menus dégustation de 18 plats depuis 1999. Citrin et le chef Ken Takayama collaborent avec les meilleur·es agriculteur·rices et producteur·rices. Yes it may be the most expensive restaurant in L.A. . .or very close. . .but can honestly say worth every penny if you can afford it. . .I would go with their basic menu and not add or go with the offered substitutions. . .you should be happy with it just as it is. . .fortunately we don't drink so that had to be a major savings. . but they were gracious to the delightful extreme and would like to make this an annual event---at least if $$$ hold out. .

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. All the staff were expertly synchronized and profoundly knowledgeable about every dish. Chef Kahn is especially gifted as he creatively elevates such special and unique ingredients while adhering to a vision of sustainability. The allergy accommodations were well crafted to fit the menu and did not seem like an after-thought. I definitely recommend the pairings because they accompany the dishes perfectly.

Greatest dining experience of my life. The care and detail was incredible. The soundtrack by jonsi of sigur ros amazing. Each dish, each vessel, including the building, flawless. It was like participating in a slice of performance art.

An amazing and well rounded experience centered on what we came for - the food, which was phenomenal. The non-alcoholic pairing was also really cool with lots of beverages made from trees. I felt like I was in a spa next to a rocky beach.

Probably the best meal either my husband or I have ever eaten. Truly special. Each dish was so well researched and thought out. Presentation was precise and beautiful. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Chef came out and spoke with us after our meal, which was lovely. Unfortunately, this restaurant is quite pricey, so it will be awhile until we'll be able to go again, but I think I'll start saving now!

What an incredible experience! Many thanks to Chef Jordan for sharing his journey throughout the world. Amazing food and beverages we wouldn’t be able to enjoy anywhere else. We also appreciated the choreography of the servers. Thank you Chef for being passionate about food. 🙏🏻

Incredible overall. One of the best dining experiences of our lives. Tastes you’ve never had and presentation was impeccable. Wine pairing generous and on point from incredible boutique wineries. It’s very pricey but insanely unique and delicious.

One of the best dining experiences we have ever had from the time we arrived at the valet to when we found our car waiting for us at the door when we left. The atmosphere, the service, the architecture and, of course, the food and wine, were all spectacular.
