We invite you to join us for an exclusive dining experience in our semi-private rooftop dining room. Upon arrival, a choice of non-alcoholic and wine pairings will be offered with a wine list readily available by request. The menu begins with a few small bites followed by a six-course menu, guests will be free to make select choices. The menu begins at $495.00 per person plus a 22% fee and 10.25% local tax - no additional gratuity is required. A non-refundable pre-payment of $1000.00 per party will be charged and applied to your final bill. We make our best attempt to accommodate allergies, vegetarian options are always available. Though it is pricey, this is truly an experience, a culinary journey. The staff gives detailed info about the food and the drink pairings. I appreciate the chef's effort to work with smaller farms and places doing sustainable practices. The precision presentation of each dish is fun to watch. I enjoyed seeing the kitchen which starts your food journey. We went for our birthday; they gave us a personalized handwritten note, a dessert and the menu you receive at the end was personalized. It was an A+ dining adventure in every way. My only con is that I can't afford to return often and that I can't specifically order some of the food that I absolutely loved.

Dining at Vespertine is primarily an aesthetic experience like any other. Kahn's dishes will bend your conception of what food is, what it can be, and how. The dishes are beautiful (not just pretty or Instagrammable) in that they ask the diner to leave the world of petty self-interest behind, concentrate, and share in the experience of universality. Kahn's dishes also create an acute sense of the uncanny - where the familiar appears strange, and the rare becomes utterly familiar. And the experience, as others have noted, require all your senses. The dining experience was near perfect, and the staff was genuinely warm and knowledgeable, some more than others. Two minor issues worth considering. First, I thought the restaurant was about 7° too warm, especially in the bathroom. Second, the beverage options are surprisingly limited. For us, the tasting menu for two is very expensive. (It took us quite a while to save up for the experience.) When we arrived, we found that the additional pairings ranged from $250-1100 (for two). This was simply out of our price range. So we ended up drinking water throughout the meal, which was FINE, but seemed an awkward juxtaposition to the dining experience. I don't doubt that the pairings are worth the price, maybe even a "value," and I appreciate that Vespertine offers only the truly exceptional. It just seemed that there should be SOMETHING for those of us for whom this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Incredible experience. The venue, the staff, the FOOD, the music, the presentation of the food, the ambience, the pairings were out of this world!

It’s an experience more than dinner, an eye rolling so-LA it’s a little funny kind of thing. And totally fantastic and worth it. Some of the courses were insanely tasty and the staff were perfect. If you can afford not to care about the bill, go!

Staff was very attentive before and during; they were wonderful about using preferred names. Courses were meticulously put together and delicious.

One of the most beautiful restaurants with extraordinary service. The vessel presentations along with the delicious food was amazing.

Unbelievable in every step of the experience (because it's not just a meal). Extremely memorable even before the restaurant opened. The staff was flawless, knowledgeable, and caring. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We're usually not huge fans of tasting menus but both enjoyed every one of the courses, as well as the stories behind them. Could not recommend enough, even with the incredibly high price tag.
