My wife and I had a special night out last night at Verse. We had some friends playing in the band, so we wanted to check it out. When we left, we both agreed that this was one of our best nights out - ever! This place is something out of a dream. The food was delicious and served promptly and with great care. Our server was delightful and informative. The chairs so comfortable, the lighting perfect (not a bright light in the entire room), the acoustics spot-on (with beautiful fabric walls to cut down on unwanted ambient sounds), the food (we're vegetarians) was very tasty even though the menu clearly favored carnivores, and the drinks very artistically served with a great balance of ingredients, and finally the Ron Blake Quintet provided the perfect musical atmosphere to complement everything else that took place that night. The place is a gem. By the time we left it was packed, so I think reservations would be in order.

What a find! No street signage telling you you’re in the right place but once you realize you are, wow! Inside is dark and cozy. We came for the live music and were so happy with the service and dining quality. We’ll be back!

Spent our 5th anniversary with a table right up front. Three piece jazz band was incredible. Food was divine!

Verse is an amazing chef restaurant. The Bar in the front is world class . The drinks are great and generous. The bartender is knowledgeable and friendly. The food is exciting and creative. I tried everything in the 3 times, that I ate there. It was a balanced well thought out menu. Not a single dud . Everything was delicious!1

What a lucky find! Ambiance is stunning. Great place for a date night. Food was delish! Live music was a bonus and Molly was great- not too loud. Would highly recommend.

A hidden gem of the valley. Both moody and pristine, it feels like you enter a totally new world inside the restaurant. The lighting design is perfect and you can adjust the level at your table if you like a little brighter vibe. It’s a perfect place for a special occasion with live music that entertains yet doesn’t distract from conversation!. The food is excellent and there’s something for everyone’s tastes. It’s hard to choose a favorite dish, but the grilled octopus, crab pasta, yellowtail crudo, and braised beef were outstanding and delicious to everyone in our party. Overall a great experience and will be going back!

It’s a rather amazing place. From the outside there is no sign, just the address number. You enter into a unique space for music and exceptional food. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it. We will be back.
