We had a reservation and our table was back left corner, last one before the bathroom. It was wobbly and very noticeable every time one of the four of us sliced or cut into something. The white linen tablecloth had stains, faded black smudges and food? We were taken to our table and all the menus were placed on the corner of the table and not politely handed to us as we sat down. Hash browns on the menu are actually bite sized fried potatoes. The crab cakes were so thin I tasted more of the coating than the actual crab. The staff was very friendly and our waiter was good. The kitchen got loud and we could hear it all. I’m sure they were having fun but still….we hadn’t been in 3 years and probably won’t be in a hurry to return.

The food is soooo good. We were even able to order off the menu based on previous visits. Service is always good. It is the best restaurant in Texarkana by miles. Bit pricey and depending on what you get the portions can be somewhat small, but it is so delicious you don't mind. My husband had blackened salmon with shrimp risotto. I had the steak medium rare with mushroom risotto.

Verona is a treasure hidden in Texarkana, TX. Excellent menu, well-constructed and well-executed. Food was freshly sourced and excellently prepared. Our server, Joe, was exceptional. Will absolutely stop in again if I find myself in Texarkana again!

Our waiter, Austin was great! He was friendly and knew the menu very well. We truly enjoyed the meal and the evening at Verona restaurant.
