    This place is truly a hidden gem!! Inside of a hotel at 23 Mile and M53 with a large outside dining area! We went there for a family celebration and the food and service was excellent! We will be back! Well done!

    We had a great time sitting on the patio on a beautiful summer night for dinner. The muddled cucumber drink was tasty and refreshing. The chicken pastina soup was delicious and so was the bread. My eggplant Parmesan was good but a still a little crunchy. My friends really enjoyed the chopped salad, special pizza, fettuccine with meat sauce, and the crispy chicken special! We will be going back to try other dishes soon!

    We came for a girls night and it was everything we expected and more. Food was great, shrimp was not only huge but delicious. We got steak entrees with Brussels and mashed potatoes, also got the pasta with vodka sauce to share and our amazing waitress brought it out like courses. Later had room service from the restaurant that also was amazing. We will be back.

You mentioned girls night- come check us out on Thursdays! We have full service patio seating and a dj during the summer every Thursday from 7-10pm :)

    UPDATE: Verona privately responded to my review and let me know my feedback would be shared with their staff. I really appreciate that. We visited again on 8/13 with some friends. We decided to give the pizza and chicken another try and both were perfectly cooked. Totally redeemed! My wife and I have been coming here for years and it is one of our favorite places for a night out. The food has generally been very good, but we’ve noticed the quality has gone down the past few times we visited. To begin, the bottom of my pizza was charred. The flour was burnt to a crisp. What is normally a really flavorful pizza was overshadowed by the taste of char. My wife’s chicken was undercooked and her whipped potatoes, which are normally very creamy and flavorful, were rather dry and bland. If we weren’t pressed for time, I would have sent our entire meal back. That being said, the Arancini was very good and our cocktails were great as usual. I’m really hoping the last few visits were merely a fluke so we can keep coming here and enjoying the food and the service. Our server, who was also manning the bar, was great.
