Service, food and cost was great. Loud table next to us was annoying but not sure what the restaurant could have done except move us after being seated. Is what it was.

We eat here every year and the food is always outstanding. Each year the restaurant also loses a little quality. This time, they could not take a credit card. We had to charge to the room. We wanted dessert but the server was too busy to take our order so we gave up. It is a good place, and the management cannot do anything about toddlers dancing around tables or babies crying. Perhaps try to go later after the crowds are thinner and you can take your time and enjoy yourself.

This was my second time eating here with my wife. The service was outstanding considering they were slammed with last minute reservations, and short a server due to illness. We noticed no issues the staff stepped up to the task. Had it was a phenomenal server and the scallops had a lovely chutney with Mangos if I’m not mistaken. We paired the meal with a wonderful Italian white wine. I remembered the Afagotto for desert. A fantastic vanilla gelato with espresso poured over. A hint of Salt that flavored the taste every few bites. 10/10 would recommend.

We have stayed at the Omni hotel many times over the years, but somehow we missed the Verandah. Hopefully in the future , we can make 2 trips to dine there back to back! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a wonderful staff. As we were led to our table (beautiful half moon booth) I knew we had been missing somewhere special. The service 10 Food 10 Ambience 10 Experience 10 My husband ate the seafood pasta, and I had the crab crusted grouper with mashed potatoes and Chardonnay butter topped with a few perfectly cooked carrots. Can’t wait for our next trip to Verandah!

Had a large group of 12 and while we could not book that many in one reservation, we did two reservations of six. They called to confirm they were indeed two bookings, then accommodated us with one large table of twelve. Seven adults and five children from 5 to 9, and Tessa did a great job of handling the kids orders first, then the adults, as we arrived at 8 pm and she hit the kids settled and it made for a very enjoyable experience. The manager visited our table twice to make sure everything was in order. Great experience to go with the meal.

We cordially greeted on arrival and shown to our table next to a wall of windows overlooking large oaks dripping with Spanish moss and tennis courts. Charming setting. Our server Jing was very nice. The food was wonderful! Two of us had grouper topped with crab. Delicious. The other in our party had beautifully seared scallops. We felt it was best meal of our trip to Amelia Island. We already recommended The Verandah to a friend considering staying at The Omni Amelia Island.

The menu was a bit limited but what we had was very good. It was a very quiet night with few in the restaurant, so it felt a bit too quiet for us. It is a very nice restaurant. Just those were our thoughts.

We have eaten there a few times in the past and as always this dinner was a very pleasant and enjoyable and delicious meal at the Veranda.

Our family's favorite meal on Amelia Island was at Verandah! The crab dip was the best I've had, and we loved the customized charcuterie board! Our entrees were fantastic and the service was superb! Thanks for a great family experience!
