The grouper is a must have! And the homemade pasta was amazing. Will definitely return!

The service at Verandah at the Omni Hotel on Amelia Island was exceptional. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and our waiter, Jeff, was attentive throughout our meal. The food on the other hand wasn’t nearly as good as we expected. The salad was terrific - fresh, cold and delicious. The focaccia and olive remoulade was also very good. The main course was a pesto mafalda pasta with local shrimp. It was very disappointing. While the flavors worked together, the shrimp had grit, possibly from sand or dirt, which was likely introduced into the dish from the shrimp not being properly cleaned. This was followed by Tiramisu which was another disappointment. I have had better from many other restaurants and from the freezer department of the local grocery store. The Tiramisu here was served directly out of the refrigerator and the only signs that it was fresh was from the 3 dollops of lemon and a sprinkle of cocoa powder… This tasteless dish was a poor representation of Tiramisu and maybe if it had been served at room temperature it might have tasted better. This was a disappointing restaurant experience and for the price, I expected a lot better.

Great meal and experience. I would caution that the restaurant is NOT AT the Omni Resort, it’s a 10 minute shuttle ride.

Tessa, our server was magnificent!!! She gave us great information on every dish on the menu. And was very accommodating to my wife who like "things on the side" or crab corn soup with "no crab". Between the delicious food and her immaculate service, the experience was and incredible one that we look to do again.

I celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday at this restaurant, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty The staff went out of their way to make our evening special, even surprising us with fun and creative. Tesa, our server, was amazing her knowledge of the menu helped us choose some truly delicious dishes. I loved everything we tried, and I can not wait to go back

Food was just average. Feel of the restaurant was not intimate, felt like a cafeteria. Service was good. Price was expensive for what was delivered.
