    Through Open Table, we had requested a "quiet area" because of a hearing disability. They disregarded that and seated us in the dining area of the bar during happy hour, so it was very noisy and full. We asked if the other dining room was open, and they acknowledged that it was and re-seated us there. After waiting a long time for someone to approach our table, I had to get up and go to the hostess station to get someone to take our orders. When I ordered my filet mignon, the server asked if I wanted mushrooms, or onions, or anything else with it. I then decided that the mushrooms would be good. When I was very near the end of my meal, I realized that she never brought the mushrooms, hailed her down, and told her. She asked if I still wanted them, and I said yes. Awhile later, she brought them to our table and I ended up taking them home with me because we were almost done dining at that point. When we received our bill, I was surprised that they still charged us separately for them. And I would think that the expediter or the server should have noticed the lack of the mushroom, when they brought our order to the table originally.

    The short rib was not as tender as you would expect and my wife needed a steak knife to cut through the cod. Seasoning on the cod was also lacking. Had to ask for salt and pepper. We love the feel of the place and the people are nice, but the quality of the food no longer makes the price worth it.

    Always excellent! Food and service was amazing. They never disappoint. Great drinks as well.

    Very nice food; reasonably priced; very quaint setting. Parking in the back of restaurant was.

    Veranda 's atmosphere and service were outstanding. Our table of six throughly enjoyed our meal. The food was excellent. Veranda has a very good happy hour. We highly recommend Veranda.

    A favorite dinner spot near Crocker Park. We were seated upstairs, which was perfect for us as it was quieter than the main floor. Beautiful Christmas decorations! Exceptional service and delicious food. We look forward to returning on our next visit to the Cleveland area.
