Found in the heart of historic Currie Barracks in Calgary, AB we have transformed the D4 Stables landmark into a unique collaboration restaurant. Nestled into our West wing we have Vaycay Brew Co brewing up unique, easy drinking beers, and our East is the home to Burwood Distillery focusing on craft made spirits like gins and whiskey using local ingredients like our Honey farms. In the middle we are Veranda, so whether you are in for a beer or cocktail we have them all, and produced on site! Our cuisine focuses on utilizing our collaborative partners brew and spirits into our dishes with our showcased Italian clay brick ovens on display for guests to watch their pizzas being cooked. Incredible events space, sprawling 200 seat south facing patio, gin distilling classes, tours and more. A quick 6 minutes from downtown Veranda is your hidden gem of Calgary. Good atmosphere but way too loud! Had to yell to speak across the table.

We had dinner at Veranda and it was great! They offered a great collab between Burwood Distillery and Vaycay Brew for a variety of drink options. The forno oven made the pizza top level and delicious. There were also TVs at the bar so you could watch the game!

Enjoyed our first visit to Veranda. Good food, good service. Very noisy but energetic. Would go again but not with a large group. Could only hear what was said by those close to me.

It was extremely busy and extremely noisy and they sat us right beside the restroom door so we didn’t stay. Also after looking at the menu there is not a lot of Gluten free foods that are not fried.

Tasty food quite the variety. We ordered several different dishes and enjoyed them all… beer is of course great so is CHERRY BRENDY YUM …

We were a large group, post-work, with varying degrees of hunger and dehydration. Our server was very accommodating, patient, helpful and kind. Beverages and mocktails were enjoyed by all; we ordered fries, hummus and cauliflower, which were also very good.
