This was such a unique dining experience in Wenatchee with amazing food and wine pairings. The chef accommodated my food allergy in a thoughtful way, and they even had an anniversary card waiting for us at the table that was signed by all the staff. It was the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion.

We had a great dining experience. The portions were perfect for the seven course dinner and we chose to couple them with the wine pairing. Can’t express enough how much we enjoyed the whole experience. Please do yourself a favor and experience Velveteen!!

Great new restaurant in Wenatchee, providing a much needed high-end dining experience. We did the wine pairing with the multi-course meal and the pairings were well thought out and excellent with each course. The food was exactly as it should be in a restaurant of this type…sophisticated with many complementary flavors and textures working together. The vibe is very sophisticated with a dark ambiance offset with very effective individual table lamps. Hoping this place becomes a big success.

Lovely, unique, and superb food served and presented with excellence! The courses were plenty filling without overdoing. The wine pairings were exquisitely matched. The cost is higher than Wenatchee is familiar with - but well worth it for a special evening. The ambiance is relaxing and comfortable. The noise level was minimal when our group of 4 were there, however the restaurant wasn't completely full so that might change with more people. I highly recommend and plan to make this a monthly occasion.

My husband and I got to enjoy the opening months menu at Velveteen. When you step behind the curtain in to the restaurant the decor is beautiful. The plush velvet banquette was very comfortable, the tables were perfectly set, the lighting was perfect for date night, and our server was friendly but not intrusive. We started out with superb cocktails and the food was delicious with fantastic wine pairings. I love when I get to find a new wine I enjoy and managed to do just that with the Tavel that they had paired with the cauliflower bisque. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough and hope to return later this year!

Like some considering Velveteen, we’ve been to Herbfarm and Mana, which are similar fine dining, prix fixe, multi-course experiences. The experience was enjoyable in it was a special occasion and my wife loves the Velveteen Rabbit story. I enjoyed the food more than she did, which she described as "very good but not stellar." My wife is mainly vegetarian, and the offerings did not accommodate that orientation, which she found disappointing. Waitstaff were attentive, skilled, and knowledgeable. It would have been helpful to have the courses on a printed sheet for reference - too much information to take in verbally, esp in the middle of a conversation. The ambience was quiet and classy. Compared to Herbfarm, Velveteen lacks the showmanship, warmth, and communal aspect that accompanies the announcement of courses to everyone present. Velveteen is clearly high quality, but it attains that by being rigid. Mana attains that same quality with a sense of humor, more diverse menu choices, and a comfortable balance. I am pleased to see this kind of establishment in Wenatchee. Given the cost, the inability to cancel or reschedule, other options we enjoy more, and the rigid parameters around the experience, it is unlikely we will return. We wish them well.

While we may not have the showmanship or communal aspect of Herbfarm or Mana, we focus on providing a quiet, intimate atmosphere with high-quality, diverse dishes. Our approach is intentional, aiming to create a serene and sophisticated environment for our guests. Regarding vegetarian options, we do offer them, but kindly request advance notice to ensure the best experience. Our staff personally introduces and describes the ingredients and preparation methods, which helps us reduce waste by eliminating daily printed menus. It has a beautiful atmosphere, excellent food and service. There's nothing else like this in Wenatchee, and it's a lovely treat to have Velveteen open.

Such an excellent addition to life in Wenatchee. The food was fantastic and on par with what you will find in a major city. Staff was attentive and personable. Highly recommend the wine pairing. Worth the price point!!
