   Disappointed!!! I booked throw open table for a fondue, but the fondue needed a extra reservation! The service was terrible! More waitress than guests and even so they don’t look at you ! I’m very disappointed! Didn’t expect that on a St. Regis hotel !

   Yes, service, the staff person for our table ( fmly of 6) was NOT responsible for the fact that the 4 entrees were immediately reduced to three ( I ordered lamb, sorry! no lamb), informed us that this kitchen had to serve three restaurants so even though Velvet Buck was NOT that crowded when we were seated ( res for 7 pm) well, we waited and waited and waited for drinks, food! To be clear, once again, our staff person apologized constantly, they comped us for ADDITIONAL drinks (myself, a second glass of wine, my son in law, a second mixed drink, while waiting) I felt that, given the caliber of St Regis/Velvet Buck, the statement should have reflected a reduced amount but that wasn’t happening! The food was good but not very good! So much for my expectations, clearly, my problem not theirs! Thank you!

   Prices are outrageous and not at all commensurate with the quality nor clumsy presentation of the food.

   Unfortunately the worst food I’ve ever had at a st Regis. It was Christmas but for $300 a head- shockingly bad. We were there two years ago and it was fabulous. Not sure what happened other than perhaps just a crazy holiday.

   Amazing Experience on Christmas and Our Anniversary We celebrated a very special occasion at this restaurant, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment we arrived, Leslie welcomed us with a smile and exceptional service, ensuring everything was perfect from the start. Our server, Aaryan, was simply outstanding. His attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism made our experience unique and unforgettable. Additionally, the support from Shanti was incredibly generous, showing true dedication to providing top-notch service. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the staff’s attention were on another level. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to all our friends.    The food took to long to arrived. S There was only one other table and the service was very slow. The servers were polite. The spaghetti had no flavor and the sauce was very light. The lamb was very “fatty”. The complimentary bread with ribs was very good

   The food was one of the best-tasting meals I have ever had. However, the prices are incorrectly represented on Open Table. The entrees and appetizers were the most expensive I have seen in Aspen. The restaurant felt like a conference room with tables. The drinks take a long to arrive because they are from the bar in the lobby. The server was lovely and did a great job. Even though the food was delicious, I would not go back or recommend this restaurant.
