My wife and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary at Vast, the restaurant at the top of the Deven Tower. They sat us next to a window which provided a picturesque view of the heart of the OKC entertainment district. My wife had the New York strip and I had the ribeye. The steak were very good with excellent flavor and cooked to perfection. The cuts were so tender you could almost cut them with a fork. The highlight of the meal was the special dessert customized to celebrate our 31st anniversary. Will, our waiter, did an excellent job of taking care of us during our celebration.

First waiter we had was horrible. Made us order our entree with our appetizer because he didn’t want to come back to our table (gave us a max of 3 min to look over the menu). I only know this because he never came back to our table. We went 40 minutes without being able to order a second glass of wine (the first glass was served by the bar, not him). Appetizers never arrived. We had to request a different server and a different waiter before we got the appetizer we ordered an hour before. Just annoying when you spend $400 at a restaurant for a birthday and you can’t even get 2 glasses of wine in an hour. We watched our waiter stand behind the bar and talk to friends the whole time and never came back after the first time we saw him. He was there until after we left so not sure what the big rush was. He was bald, round head, and dark eyebrows & shaved beard. Arrogant demeanor. The second waiter we had was wonderful. Friendly, attentive, and what any normal waiter would be. Literally saved my husband’s birthday dinner.

Food was good. Waiter did well but was overwhelmed or disorganized. Food was not hot when we got it. If I would go back here I’d ask for a table away from the bar.

We were visiting from Dallas and celebrating a birthday/anniversary. The restaurant is beautiful and food is amazing. Staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Jared was our wait person and so friendly and helpful down to an off the list wine. He was one of the best we can remember. Josh the bartender’s knowledge of single malt scotches is beyond anything one can imagine. Only thing that could have made it better would have been a visit from management to see how we were doing. Perhaps they were otherwise occupied. In spite of that we highly recommend visiting the Vast and ask for Jared.

As usual, I'm always drawn to the lunch menus that are vegan friendly. On Tuesday, impossible chili, mixed greens, mixed vegetables, smoked hummus, baked beans, coleslaw, potato wedges were all vegan and very delicious. I ate too much, and didn't have much else the rest of the day. The waiter is always kind enough to bring me sorbet as I cannot eat eggs or dairy from the dessert selection, that day included strawberry basil and raspberry sorbet. I look forward to returning.

Sweet views. Didn’t know it was buffet style. Was expecting fine dining. Food was mid but service was amazing and drinks and dessert were great. Romantic. Would recommend going after sunset.

Vast was a great dinner experience. The view was phenomenal!!! Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and very courteous. Even took our pic in an open room with the view. The food was very good. We really enjoyed our experience and would certainly recommend.

Have been a few times and always a fantastic experience. Gave 4 stars on service but there was not 4.5. This team was great, food great, view obviously spectacular.
