As always, we had a wonderful experience while dining at Vast! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about our menu choices and the dessert was fabulous!

Another great lunch at vast. I love the anticipation of the themed lunch menu for the following week. It's a real treat. It's my new favourite.

Very enjoyable and filling dining experience. Had teriyaki ribs today which were excellent. Love the variety in the menu each week. The view of the city is also exceptional!

This was the best meal I have had in a long time! The filet was wonderful and the banana cheesecake was delicious. Our server, Aaron, was awwesome and even gave us a short tour of the entire floor. This was a great place to celebrate our anniversary. We also found out they serve a $25 buffet at lunch. This was our first time here, but definitely not the last!

When a restaurant has unquestionably the most epic views anywhere in the state, it doesn't strictly need to work as hard to impress its clientele. I'm sure the built-in wow factor creates a temptation to slack off on things like service, attention to detail, an interesting menu and wine list, etc. I'm happy to report that Vast seems immune to that temptation. Across the board, our experience there (dinner date at a prime-time weekend table) was excellent. Better, really, than it needed to be. Service was just right—not hovering, not abandoning us, creating just the right pace to the meal—all which is tricky with a tasting menu. And the food was on point throughout. Inventive without being precious or needlessly obscure; portioned reasonably and seasoned properly; plated artfully and delivered to the table at the perfect temperature. During a busy service night, making all of those things happen is harder than it may seem. Our server went above and beyond—truly, as we were in a silly, teasing mood and he rolled with it without blinking an eye. All in all, the experience was elevated from the usual Spendy Date Night Dinner to something truly memorable (complete with a complementary parting gift from the kitchen the likes of which I'm sure I'll never receive again). Last but not least: entering the restaurant is a bit of a Thing: a dramatic ritual that starts with a single greeter in a huge atrium right out of a movie set, continues with a brisk elevator ride skyward, and ends with you being led through a sleek interior space with explosive horizon views all around. Genuinely, there's not a bad seat to be had in the place. Our booth toward the back was ideal for us, affording plenty of scenery coupled with a very sexy sense of privacy. Highly recommended, particularly for dates. For us, it was every bit as impressive and satisfying as we hoped it would be, and more.
