Consistent quality menu breaking the “bar food” Concept that is prevalent in town. Truly Greek cuisine with something for everyone. Clean, friendly and good value for the price. Very fresh and delicious food.

Be careful what you order! We have been going to Vaz In both Alpharetta and Roswell for the last several years. On our last visit my wife ordered a Capirhina. She did not want the strawberry one they offered on their specialty drink menu because she inquired and was told, that it was very sweet so she ordered a plain one. It came out and tasted horrible. The manager came out and apologized, the bartender came out and apologized, and even said they did not find a recipe to use on the Internet… But that they were going to still charge us for the drink even though my wife decided to pick something else off of their specialty cocktails. They said the charge was due to a new policy imposed by the owners that all alcohol sales are final. They said the best they could do was to take half price off, which is ludicrous , believe me, it’s not the money it’s the principle of it all, so….our policy is we will not be going to Vaz Anymore because there are plenty of other restaurant options in Alpharetta.

You never need to be careful what you order as our menu is crafted with precision and balance for the best taste. We do warn guests when people make adjustments to our recipes that they may not like it; as in your case. Our alcohol has not nothing wrong with it therefore we cannot give items away at no cost when people have clearly ordered an item but decided it is not their preference. We highly recommend ordering items that include ingredients you know you like as they are all listed on our menu. I see you gave us a 4 point for our food and service and we would hate to see you not come back over one item that we did our best to accommodate you. Giving you 50% off was fair because that covered our costs with no profit and our policy on the menu states all liquor sales final. Good day.

Bartender Stone was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was wonderful. Enjoyed some spreads and cocktails at the bar and then sat outside for dinner where the servers were just as charming. Will be back more often.

Our first visit to Vaz Kouzinas was a huge success. Our server was very attentive and offered explanations and recommendations to all our questions. The quality of the wine, appetizers and entrees were excellent. The portion sizes of our desserts (highly recommend the baklava cheesecake) were sizeable. Not inexpensive, but worth it.

The service by Hector was terrific. He did an excellent job and made some good recommendations. We ordered the calamari and it was disappointing as it was very tough. Overall a good experience otherwise

I sat down and started looking at the cocktail menu and asked for a water in the meantime. The water never came, so we got up and went to the bar and waited to order a water. We will say that the food taste good. The two fish entrée choices are extremely expensive. We did order the branzino and like I always do I asked for capers when my fish came out. I was told they were out of capers? On a Friday night? All in all a pleasant experience, but not somewhere we will go to dine often .

Didn’t find this restaurant a good value at all. Came there for the fish but the sticker price made us say NO. $36/lb and fish averages 1.5-3 lbs at restaurants discretion. Didn’t feel like spending $70-$100 for a pice of fish! Everything is al la carte. Small portions of grilled vegetables for the $14 price and even less when you order it as your entree. Strange. Party of 4 and we all ordered different entrees but we all agreed they were just fair! Also the restaurant was not busy on a Saturday night and took 40 minutes for our food to be served. Just not impressed.

Excellent service and good quality. We had fried calamari, meatballs, saganaki, seasonal mezza item - watermelon salad, gyro, lemon potatoes and lamb souvlaki. All were very tasty and our foodies were happy! We were also recommended a bottle of Greek Merlot- Château Julia that was deemed to be very good from our wine connoisseurs.

VAS of Alpharetta is often overlooked because of the Roswell restaurant. However, this one has food just as good, more space, newer interior, and easier parking. Also, Petro was a great server. Pass the craziness of Main Street and try this place. We love it!
