Welcome to our new Van Winkle West End location, we look forward to welcoming you. We’ve sampled food all across the USA but our heart fell in love with the taste of classic BBQ and Grill dishes from Kentucky. Comfort food for the soul and incredible flavours.

Serving the largest selection of Bourbons in Scotland along with an awesome array of beers, wine and cocktails.

All our food is locally sourced, using on the highest quality products and prepared fresh, in house at Van Winkle.

We are in a great location at Sandyford Place, Sauchiehall Street with easy access from the City Centre or the West End.

Don't forget our fantastic beer garden out the front and back, a great spot to enjoy a beer or two.

Handy for post-show easy eats as it’s a short drive from the Hydro and away from the congestion of Finnieston. Good that it’s dog friendly and they even have a dog menu which was great. Food was pretty good, not outstanding but tasty enough. Our server was really friendly and helpful. Overall decent place for a quick bite.

Staff were welcoming but the place seemed like it could do with a good clean. Smelt very deep fried and gents toilets were wiffy with one basin with a plastic bag tied over it!?! Food was average but onion rings were soggy and both me and my son were sick after!?

Had to amend our reservation last minute due to a broken down train and the venue couldn’t have been any more accommodating. The food was excellent and I would highly recemmend Van Winkle.

Such a wonderful place with a superb atmosphere. The food was outstanding and I would say it was fairly priced. There were tips immediately added to the bill which I’m not a huge fan of, as I like to tip what I feel is right.. on this occasion the tip was probably less than I would have. It’s a quirky little place with what looks like lots of fun activities and evenings available. The comedy nights look great and I will definitely be visiting. The only downside of the evening would be the wait in between getting the wings in, but this did mean that the wings were always piping hot and incredibly delicious!!! The hot honey were SPICY!!!!!! And delicious.. my favourite flavour was probably the buffalo wings, and the person I went with preferred the lemon pepper wings. But they were all delicious.

Chicken burgers were very tasty, we also ordered dirty fries but weren't told we could upgrade our fries with the burger to dirty fries so ended up with loads of fries. It was very quiet when we first went in on a Thursday night so thought what was the point in booking. A few other tables came in just before we left but it wasn’t anywhere near full. No wings available at all either as all sold out probably from the Wings Wednesday night. Enjoyed the food.
