Welcome to Van Winkle, we look forward to serving you. We’ve sampled food all across the USA but our heart fell in love with the taste of classic BBQ and Grill dishes from Kentucky. Comfort food for the soul and incredible flavours.

Serving the largest selection of Bourbons in Scotland along with an awesome array of beers, wine and cocktails.

All our food is locally sourced, using on the highest quality products and prepared fresh, in house at Van Winkle.

We are in a great location, opposite the Barrowland Ballroom. Easy access from the City Centre or the East End.

Don't forget our hidden gem, The Jack Daniels Beer Garden, a great spot to enjoy a beer or two.

We offer a sit in, takeaway and home delivery service.

We bring Kentucky and its famous Bourbon’s to Van Winkle, Glasgow’s go to Bourbon bar! Our Bourbon mixologist will talk you through 4 of our most popular Bourbon’s during your own Bourbon tasting session. Using locally sourced ingredients our aim is to bring real quality products, delivered by genuine people, in an atmosphere that allows you to drift and believe you are in the deepest parts of Kentucky! The event lasts for 1.5 hours and is over 18 years old only. Subject to availability. Bookings must be made 24 hours in advance. Minimum of 2 people to book.

We had a variety of burgers. They were all excellent (best burger I've had for a while actually). Sides were great too. Great selection of drinks and cocktails. All with excellent service

First time we've been. Deffo be back. Staff were brilliant and food came out pretty quickly. Amazing scran all cooked perfectly. Surprised at how reasonable it was for 3 of us. Superb all round

We were running late waiting on a taxi and phoned to let them know. Absolutely no problem. Food was amazing and service was faultless.

Food was decent and great variety of drinks and cocktails. Staff were super friendly and very attentive. I would definitely recommend. Great pregig venue as across the road from the Barralands

Pleasantly surprised. Hadn't tried the place and we were met with friendly service and delicious food. We will be back.

Booked for dinner on Saturday night before a gig at the Barrowlands. Place was mobbed as expected a gig across the road and the Saturday before Christmas. Its not the biggest of places and the amount of people coming in (fully booked but can come for drinks) but it was too many people! Brushing by the high tables, literally in your face as your trying to eat, awkward eye contact. The food was great and hats off to your staff - 2 servers and 1 behind the bar, but this did impact the experience. Had to ask to take the order, they were so stressed I felt stressed!!! The door just kept opening and opening more and more people, at one point the bar que was 3 deep, this isn't a place for a bar to be 3 deep.

Food was really good. Had a party of 5 and email conforms this was booked for 2 hours. I hour and 20 minutes in we were told we had 20 minutes left. So did not stick to table restrictions that were confirmed in email
