Experience winter in style with Van Acre’s exclusive Igloo Experience. Our luxurious igloos offer an elevated atmosphere, complete with stylish finishes, cozy blankets and adjustable space heaters. Relax as our dedicated staff serves our full menu, perfect for lounge-style dining and craft cocktails. Join us for a memorable evening in Wausau’s most enchanting winter retreat. Reservations are available in 90 minute blocks with a $150 food and beverage minimum. A nonrefundable $100 deposit is required and will be credited to your food and beverage purchase. Single checks only and 18% gratuity will be automatically added. Maximum capacity of 8. For changes and cancellations, please contact the restaurant directly.

Quality of food and drinks at the highest level. Igloos experience is amazing. All staff is amazing in service.

The food was VERY good. I had short ribs which were incredible! Marsha was our server and she was very solicitous and cheerful. We had a seat near the beautiful fireplace....All in all a great experience

This was an absolute amazing experience in the igloo! The waiter (Robert) was so great! The food was absolutely delectable! Would recommend 10/10!

It is our favorite place for dinner and drinks. Always great service, awesome food and the best atmosphere around. It is also fun trying the new food and drinks on the menu as they never disappoint.

Van Acre is always a 10/10 experience. The food, atmosphere, and service is some of the best we have ever experienced including many fine restaurants across the US. Each time we visit, we have a wonderful time. Every dish is excellent. We are so fortunate to have such a great dining place in our neighborhood!

We got seated a little later than our reservation but the Tomahawk Chops and the Sea Bass over shadowed that. The food was EXCELLENT!!! We will go back…again and again!

Food was average at best. Honestly I cook just as well at home. Prices were high relative to the overall value. Service was slow. It literally took 10 minutes before drinks were delivered to our table. They were brought to the table individually instead of being delivered all at once. Cook time was about 50% longer than it needed to be. Offer to refill drinks was non-existent. I would never go back to this restaurant.
