Valhalla Brewing was born from a love of great independent beer.
In 2016, founder Scott Hunt turned his passion into a business. Scott's journey began in university, when he developed a keen interest in home brewing.

His appreciation for beer grew, leading him and his wife Ange to launch Valhalla’s first beer, Obsidian, in 2016.
Obsidian gained popularity, expanding the Valhalla range. By 2021, Obsidian won the AIBA award for Best Stout/Porter, and Valhalla was named Champion Gypsy Brewer.

In 2018, Valhalla opened the Valhalla Taproom on Union St, Geelong.
This intimate space allows people to gather and celebrate life’s passions, enjoying exceptional beer, music, and food.

Valhalla’s journey comes full circle with the Valhalla Brewhall in North Geelong at the historic Federal Mills. This 1500-litre brewhouse can brew up to 500,000 litres per year.
The 200-capacity Brewhall is a unique and exciting venue in Geelong. Discover Valhalla Brewing and our award-winning craft beers.
