Food and service were fab, despite the burning coming from the kitchen. The restaurant was very cold.

This is the second visit to this restaurant and on both occasions everything was superb. Highly recommended.

We had a family lunch on a Saturday. There was no problem getting a table for five. We all enjoyed our food very much including our fussy grandson. There was a bit of a hitch with the service on this occasion as the waiter only ordered three of the adult main courses and one of us had to wait quite a long time. On other occasions service has been fine so I think this was possibly due to an inexperienced waiter. It didn’t spoil the occasion and we would happily go again as the food is good.

I was a bit disappointed in my first visit to Valentina East Sheen. The portion of my carbonara was a little less generous than it could have been. The lighting is very bright - it’s not a cosy restaurant and it would be easy to improve that. It wasn’t bad, but I would probably try somewhere else.

Tables were virtually on top of one-another making conversation impossible. The Muzak was too loud. When I asked for the volume to be turned down, I was told the people at the other end of the restaurant wouldn’t be able to hear it. As they were already shouting to make themselves heard, this was absurd. The staff were unconcerned, unsympathetic and defensive. I’m sure the food would have been fine but we left. There are alternatives in SW14 now

Food 5*. Service / Team 0* Food is always, fresh and delicious! One young chap, serving was brilliant, but he was left by 2 others to crack on. Drinks took 20 minutes, food came out in dribs and drabs. Sauces and other items missing. Dessert took 15 minutes and when we asked about it, we we’re told it would be another 20 minutes. I was given the wrong drink and when I asked about it, was told we don’t have it. It was assumed I would drink something else regardless, I didn’t drink it and when this was mentioned. It was ignored. Rude, unhelpful, staff. It was hard work and we won’t be returning as a result. Literally paid to be insulted for 90minutes:
