Valdari is the newest restaurant from Chef and owner David Arias, debuting November 2022 in Bayside Queens just half block away from Bell Blvd.
The food at Valdari has dishes using the best imported ingredients including a focus on local farm ingredients.
Valdari wine list has the best selections of some of the most iconic and up and coming Italian and American wine producers. Cocktails are grounded in classics but with an Italian twist.

Great restaurant, nice atmosphere, good service & delicious food. Also, the prices are pretty good compared with other places in Bayside. I’m looking forward to going back to Valdari soon.

The food here is excellent! My wife and I are huge fans of their pasta and appetizers as well. Whether dine in or take out, the food itself is always their selling point. The location is nice, very spacious. Good for a date night for sure. The only thing that was a bit lacking was the service. It wasn't bad, but I think the waitresses were new and didn't quite seem trained up yet. It happens- wouldn't keep us from coming back, but just sharing the honest feedback.

This is the second time we have eaten at Valdari. We were not terribly impressed the first time which was 5 months ago but decided to give it another try. Not a good idea. The hostess was unenthusiastic, the server was lacking in both experience and knowledge of the menu, and the food was mediocre at best. We will not be returning.

love the food. been here multiple times over the course of Valdari’s being open. the waiter we had today failed to write down our orders, remembering most but messed up mine. this isn’t the first time i have had trouble with him. nice guy but probably should write orders down to prevent confusion or mishaps.

Service was sub par for the price paid. Some of the appetizers were cold. Veal and chicken parm were good. Pasta and fish lacked seasoning.

The service was very slow and staff less than friendly We were greeted half heartedly at the door by a young woman who sat us down didn’t smile, didn’t ask if we wanted a drink. Mind you we were the only ones in the restaurant besides one young woman sitting by herself A waiter came over after about 10 minutes and dropped 3 menus off no explanation about the menus , and we had questions . About 1/2 hour later , we were brought over a small bowl with bread. Still didn’t ask for our order. A while later someone finally came over to ask if we wanted something to drink . They brought drinks over 15 minutes later Another 10-15 minutes our order was finally taken . It had a feel like we were bothering the staff, not that they were happy to have customers For Mother’s Day it was pretty empty, now I know why Lastly, my reservation was for 11:00am. Hostess said your early , I said it’s just 11:00 When I looked at my phone before , it indicated my reservation was over and that it was for 3:10pm Mind you they called me yesterday to confirm my 11:00am reservation, They need to get their act together , food was good, but small portions

We came for lunch and had the prix fixe. Very good value. Tasty dishes and delicious dessert. Hostess/waitress was lovely and attentive. I will return.

Overall, we had a very nice experience at Valdari. Great food, and remarkable service especially as it seemed like one very efficient server was taking care of the whole restaurant the night we were there. If I had any criticism at all it would be the volume level of the music. On the one hand, the DJ was playing great dance hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, so we were loving the selections, but it was a little too loud to have any conversation at the table without raising one’s voice. Maybe pump up the volume later in the evening when patrons are looking for a livelier experience, but earlier in the evening (we had a 7:00 reservation), we wished the music had been at a little lower volume, conducive to enjoying the meal and the friends at our table. Other than that one criticism, it was a great experience.
