Utter Waffle - a gem within the South London brunch scene! We opened our Balham restaurant in 2024, our second site after our Herne Hill baby! Since our launch, we've collected a small cabinet of trophies and awards, and have even cooked our savoury waffles on Masterchef, Sunday Brunch & Saturday Kitchen!
Our busy brunch restaurant serves everything from fried chicken & waffles and our signature avo smash, to bottomless brunch & craft beers. For those with a sweet tooth - fret not as the desserts are pretty good too - (we're even the proud winners of The Best Dessert in the UK (British Street Food Awards)), so there really is something for everyone!
We pride ourselves on a super-inclusive menu and ability to cater for those with dietary requirements; We're co-owned by a coeliac, don't handle any gluten on-site, plus we boast loads of vegetarian and vegan options too! So what are you waiting for!?

3rd time here and it just gets better and better! The food is incredible, as are the cappuccinos! And the staff are really lovely and attentive too. I really recommend the James, Jules and the Giant Peach!

Love Utter Waffle. I'm addicted to the Dippy Eggs with soldiers. Who knew I loved Marmite so much? The staff is so welcoming and friendly. It's a really nice place to have a casual meal.

One of the best brunches in London 100% ! Waffles were delicious, I had the GOAT waffle with fried chicken as a side, everything was absolutely excellent and tasty, in good quantities and it wasn't too heavy. Fresh juices were good too. Service was nice; the only thing that bothered me was the noise level inside the venue - it was very loud, especially with children running around. But all in all, I would go back and try other savoury waffles !

Really lovely service and gorgeous food! So delighted to have somewhere completely gluten free it’s such a breath of fresh air for a coeliac!
