                                      We're locals & very glad that U8 is back as it was. The staff, service & food are equally great. Yep it's a little more expensive but no need for a taxi to get similar in the city centre, say. Delicious dinners out are a treat as opposed to every night & so a few extra bob & no washing up at home is more than worth it. Keep it up.

                                      Would definitely recommend. Food exceeded expectations; the starter, gnocchi with lovage oil was very unusual and just gorgeous, mains excellent. Service attentive throughout. Only negative was a very limited selection of wine, reds were all quite similar, but overall had a really nice experience and will definitely visit again.

                                      I had the beef patty which was very good. I loved the crispy pancetta and fontina cheese toppings. Chips were hot and crispy. My daughters had the Avo eggs with goats cheese and the waffle with banana, marscapone, pecans with toffee sauce, it was delicious but she needed help finishing it as it was a big portion. An extra portion of fries, 2 mimosas and a bellini brought the bill to €83.50 which I felt was good value. It's a lovely space but the music was too loud that coupled with a noisy table behind us made it hard to hold a conversation
