Farm-to-table dining in the comfort of our home: that is the unique experience you will find at Urban Hearth. Located in a cozy North Cambridge storefront, our intimate dining room, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and exquisitely crafted menu are the heart of our dinner service. Join us for a la carte or at our chef's counter where you'll have the pleasure of interacting with Chef Erin Miller while dining.

We share a story of culture, community, discovery and home. The globally-inspired, locally-sourced dishes we serve celebrate our rich and complex connection with food. The table is set, whether marking a special occasion or the end of a busy day, we look forward to sharing the evening with you. We welcome private event bookings for graduations, birthdays, weddings and more. To equalize the pay disparity between tipped staff & kitchen staff during our busy times, we add a 5% kitchen appreciation fee to each check. We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations.

An outstanding farm-to-table meal created right in front of you while you chat with our team of talented chefs. When booking, please share dietary restrictions. Note: Our menu for the chef's counter experience is ideal for adventurous diners. This menu changes daily and not all dietary restrictions and preferences can be accommodated. The experience was amazing. I loved being able to interact with the chefs and learn about the ingredients. I am still thinking about the scallop crudo with cantaloupe sauce SPECTACULAR!!

What a gem that’s a bit under the radar. Pricey but worth y it. The food is deceptively simple in presentation but goodness the combinations of ingredients and flavors are exceptional. Will return

Food was fresh and delicious. Prices are on the higher side, but I found it well worth the money. Service was outstanding.

This restaurant pretends to have food that is fresh and seasonal. However, we had old flavorless tuna, woody and overly dry chanterelles, and over the hill green beans. The flavor combinations were off and overall I found the food unpleasant to eat. I can;t imagine why anyone would pay for this food. The wine list is too small and too odd. I should have rejected the wine we ordered but did not want to make a stink about it. (It was fizzy when it shouldn't have been). Also, the service was slow. We had five dishes in a meal that took two hours.

This is about the eighth meal we have had at Urban Hearth. You can tell from that number that we love the food snd the vibe. And this was the best yet!

We had an amazing experience at the Chef’s Table! The food was so delicious, fresh and carefully crafted. Would highly recommend!

Amazing food and service. Top 3 meals I’ve had in Boston hands down. The duck beignets were amazing and the tuna watermelon was so fresh and tasty. will definitely be returning (pricey, so likely just for special occasions).

We have been eating at Urban Hearth for almost 10 years and just had our best meal yet. The award-winning bass-lobster mosaic was divine. But so were the staples--seasonal foraged salad, chanterelle pain perdu, and Maine oysters. All with a delicious and interesting eastern European wine. Service isn't fast if that is what you are looking for, but the tempo is lovely, and each dish is prepared with TLC.

Urban Hearth is fabulous! The food is inventive, balanced and delicious. Chef Erin Miller just keeps on getting better. The service is friendly and the environment is cozy. The wine list is curated and the drinks creative. This is the place to go if you’re interested in dishes that you’ve never had that wow the palate. My wife and I have been to three different 3 Michelin star restaurants this past year, and the food at Urban Hearth is right up there, and at a fraction of the price. We’ll continue to go regularly.
