Farm-to-table dining in the comfort of our home: that is the unique experience you will find at Urban Hearth. Located in a cozy North Cambridge storefront, our intimate dining room, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and exquisitely crafted menu are the heart of our dinner service. Join us for a la carte or at our chef's counter where you'll have the pleasure of interacting with Chef Erin Miller while dining.

We share a story of culture, community, discovery and home. The globally-inspired, locally-sourced dishes we serve celebrate our rich and complex connection with food. The table is set, whether marking a special occasion or the end of a busy day, we look forward to sharing the evening with you. We welcome private event bookings for graduations, birthdays, weddings and more. To equalize the pay disparity between tipped staff & kitchen staff during our busy times, we add a 5% kitchen appreciation fee to each check. We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations.

An outstanding farm-to-table meal created right in front of you while you chat with our team of talented chefs. When booking, please share dietary restrictions. Note: Our menu for the chef's counter experience is ideal for adventurous diners. This menu changes daily and not all dietary restrictions and preferences can be accommodated. Please allow at least 2.5 hours for your dinner.

Join her and our front of house team for a 4 course farm-to-table meal created by Chef Kat at Urban Hearth on two Sundays in November, 11/3 and 11/10. $85 ticket includes 3 courses and dessert tax and tip are additional Beverage not included Menu: New England Fall salad | squash, leek & pear Caviar Vibes | potato flatbreads | roe Featherbrook Farms Roast chicken | the works Boozy Apple Cake Menu subject to changes due to nature’s fall time whims. No modifications. Shellfish and gluten allergy, vegetarianism can be accommodated if requested in reservation notes.

A wonderful dinner with great service. The mushroom dinner dishes were both delicious and beautiful. A lovely evening.

We attended their mushroom dinner which was a bargain for the number of courses and the cost- the food was great and our server was very attentive

I dined at Urban Hearth for the first time recently with a couple friends. It is a really calming and intimate environment. They take great care with every detail, from the most comfortable seating I've ever had dining, to the thought provoking plating, it just all felt so planned, and executed perfectly. The staff are well versed in the menu, which is impressive since it changes with what's seasonally available. The food was absolutely fantastic, we enjoyed 2-3 shared plates per person as we couldn't decide what not to order. The beet carpaccio was a favorite of mine. Each bite brought a new texture and taste, between the candied hazelnuts, pepita spread, and hyssop. I can't wait to go back and enjoy the new creations they make when it's true gourd season.

So glad we found this wonderful and welcoming gem. Although the space is nice but utilitarian, the food and the service is the star of the experience. The menu is very focused innovative creations that are superb and memorable journeys of flavors that often we have not seen before, but that work so well together. All dishes feature local and super-fresh ingredients, which makes all menu items so successful. Although the website highlights the locally sourced ingredients, in our mind that's only half of what makes this so special!

Eating at Urban Hearth with a dear friend was an exceptional experience. Not only was the food beautifully presented as we ate at the counter overlooking the chefs, yet we also had the pleasure to be asked how are meals were by the chefs themselves and the wait staff. The ambience was intimate and the food was deliciously surprising with varied textures and spices. I will be returning soon so my husband and I can also experience this together. Bravo!

The experience was amazing. I loved being able to interact with the chefs and learn about the ingredients. I am still thinking about the scallop crudo with cantaloupe sauce SPECTACULAR!!

What a gem that’s a bit under the radar. Pricey but worth y it. The food is deceptively simple in presentation but goodness the combinations of ingredients and flavors are exceptional. Will return
