It was an odd evening. We were the only table. They have a very tight menu and we’re out of things; fried chicken & waffles and much of the wine list. This should have been a disaster but it wasn’t! The meals we had were all successful! Korean chicken sandwich, hamburger, halibut and pasta were great, their suggestions on replacement wines were excellent and not an up-sale. We also had two bread starter that were both tasty. Services was friendly, attentive and professional. We’d certainly go back!

Our server and the manager we’re outstanding as they explain the menu to us. The drinks and meals were very good, especially the halibut and the salmon. Will be going back.

Food is excellent but the service is terrible. It’s been insanely slow both times I’ve been there. What a shame :(

We were there for my son’s birthday, the restaurant was empty, and we waited for an hour for our food. They brought out bed baskets and drinks and did say they would comp them. We finally said we had to go.

This restaurant was a wonderful surprise. Everything that we had was done extremely well with some uniques flavors and fresh ingredients. The presentation was also lovely, as was the service. It is also one of the loveliest restaurant environments I've been in a long while. Treat yourself and go!

Let me start with, the food is good, however I ordered a medium-rare burger. My friend did the same and we also order the orzo which is served cold. Our waiter came out to let us know the burgers were ready but the orzo was not, for a cold dish we couldn't understand why the orzo wasn't ready. I ask him to bring our burgers as I did not want it to cook more. He went to the kitchen, came back to tell us the chef wanted everything to come out together. I explained that I didn't want my burger to cook more. Ultimately the burger came out medium to well. No surprise. I sent it back. Then the manager stopped me on the way to the ladies room, at that time I again explained my position. What I should have said was "the customer is ALWAYS right". However I did say that I didn't care what the chef wanted. I wanted a medium-rare burger. He went on to tell me the burger doesn't continue to cook... that is not true. He did say he took it off the bill.

The trio dips or whipped ricotta is a must! Overall, great experience with wonderful service. We disagreed on the value of the vegetarian dinner option, but our concerns felt heard and we’d dine here again.

I took my husband to celebrate his 50th Bday during restaurant week. From beginning to end, our experience at Urban Cove Society & Kitchen was exceptional! The attention from the host and waitresses was superb and the food was absolutely delicious! We were started with the sourdough bread, ricotta, and fig that was amazing. For our first course I had the trio of dips...so good! And my husband had the caesar salad.. delicious! For the second course, my husband had the skirt steak which he loved and I had the fried chicken and waffles, so yummy! I had never had fried chicken that was so delicious. For dessert, we had the perfect end to our meals with affogato and the flourless chocolate torte. Both absolutely decadent and a must have!

Enjoyed our meal at Urban Cove and may return. It was on the loud side but to be fair a couple was fighting while we were eating.
