                                                                                              Service was pretty slow today. Took a really long time for us to get our drinks, we were not seated with silverware. Our food was delivered without silverware and we had to ask our food server for silverware after we had perviously asked our waitress for it. The food was amazing as usual but the service was really slow.

                                                                                              This was my first time at Uptown Yolk, and I’d been wanting to try them out for awhile now. The place did not disappoint! The hospitality, service, and food quality was top tier. I went with the sweet potato waffle and it was the best waffle I’ve ever had. Cake like, moist, and very flavorful…without being overkill on the sweet potato side. I also had the Dulce de Leche latte and that was also great. I will definitely be back!

                                                                                              Visiting from Johnson City, TN. We had shrimp + grits and chicken + waffles. So delicious and service was great. We look forward to coming back here and the other 2 restaurants.

                                                                                              Food was really good, service was friendly but they were a bit overwhelmed and food took awhile. Table sat after us was served their food quite a bit before us without an apology or explanation.

                                                                                              This was my third visit to Uptown Yolk, and I was a bit disappointed with the experience. We had a 2:15 reservation but weren’t seated until around 2:30. After placing our order, only part of my meal arrived initially, and the rest didn’t come out until about 10 minutes later. Getting our checks was a hassle—it took us another 10 minutes of waiting, and we eventually had to go find our waiter to get the checks corrected, which took an additional 5 minutes. While the food was good, it wasn’t hot and seemed like it had been sitting for a while.
