Almost three years on from its culinary christening, Upstairs has sparked a reputation for casual dining in its finest form. A self-contained dining space, Upstairs offers guests a selection of small plates from our daily-changing menu, all of which are cooked to order from an open island kitchen and designed to share.

As well as being available for reservations and exclusive hires, Upstairs proudly plays host to a variety of exciting events and special evenings for our guests to enjoy; from expertly-led wine masterclasses to convivial Sunday lunches.

Our aim has always been to offer our guests the opportunity to get closer to the cooking process than ever before, and with the unfaltering passion and dedication of our team, a recently (and very proudly) received Bib Gourmand Award, and the continued support of our wonderful guests, we truly see nowhere to go but up.

We had an excellent experience at Trinity Upstairs, this was an superb way to experience beautifully prepared first class food at a very reasonable price. For Adam Byatt, to give his staff this opportunity to showcase their own food is very rewarding both to the customer and the Chef. All food was served in a timely fashion. Staff were attentive to the customers needs. Great selection of wine to accompany the 5 course meal. Would highly recommend this to any person who wants to treat their taste-buds to something special.

extraordinary food (to be expected) - plenty for non meat eaters - gloriously friendly and delightful staff, jolly and warm ambience and lovely view (and gentle breeze) from the open windows. The cooking and serving staff knew we were celebrating our Golden Wedding anniversary and went over and above in responding to that - we felt very cherished. Thank you to all.

This was our first time in Upstairs and we found it lively, friendly and delicious. The supper was amazing, particularly loved the tartare. Thanks for a lovely evening!

A truly fantastic meal, I hope that his new venture is a sucess I would strongly recommend a visit to either his new restaurant wildflowers or to any Trinity events, have found them all to be fantastic

Right from arrival the welcome was warm and friendly. The servers explained everything well and helped us make our choices. The food and drinks were delicious. The menu seems pricey at first but the sharing plates go a long way so is actually very reasonable. Some more mid priced wines would be great as the drink more than doubled the bill - although they were all very good. Service slackened off a bit towards the end, it took ages for our final drinks to arrive and we struggled to get the bill and pay. But everything up to that point was wonderful.
