Inspired by the rich history of Pier 38, Upstairs at Pier 38 is a place to gather that encompasses locally caught seafood, sourced by the renowned Honolulu Fish Auction, featuring USDA Prime Steak. Our Executive Chef adds their own creativity to the menu by collaborating with Chef Nico Chaize, to create island cuisine using rustic French techniques.

Experience our cozy lounge setting inspired by a “home away from home.” Smokey wood accents with high industrial ceilings, glowing lights, and a majestic copper bar will allow our guests to unwind with ease. Seating in the dining room is spacious and perfect for large parties or an intimate date night.

We are happy to offer a contemporary wine list with old-world treats, locally crafted beers, and captivating one-of-a-kind cocktails. Our team prefers reservations; however, walk-ins are always welcome!

Awesomeness from the time we checked in with Matthew. Elliot our server more Awesomeness The food was delicious! Lobster bisque soup, Steak, Potatoes, Mac and cheese, Lord have mercy! We are definitely coming back! Did I mention awesome service? Jessica the General manager came to check on us, she was so sweet.we’ve been to some really nice restaurants, never had a manager check on us! Again love the food and service, and ambiance!

Aloha & Mahalo to staff & crew the food was amazing so Big Mahalo to kitchen crew and I highly recommend everyone I eat many place in town and Upstair never disappoint food,value and service that's why I go there it's all the hard working employees making customer feel happy to eat ,enjoy & drink. Perfect spot for a Friday Night dinner after a long work week for my wife and I. Enjoyed the Food, the Ambiance, the Service. We will be back. Mahalo!

We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Upstairs @ Pier 38! We were seated at a fabulous table near the (huge) windows where we could look over the harbor. Our service team was professional and kept our delicious dinner coming at just the right pace. Our food Was awesome & enjoyed by all!

Soup was just ok. Seared ahi was served cold. Small portion sides. As it was a 1st date, I chose not to say anything. Disappointed and most certainly overpriced. Wait person was friendly.

Had a wonderful experience. Elliot waited on our table and made some excellent recommendations for the meal and dessert, along with wines to accompany the dishes. Very nice atmosphere, and service was professional yet friendly. Oysters were very tasty and the yellowtail was superb.

Oh boy was dinner good! Kinda miss the short ribs that used to be on the menu but the monchong (fish special) was out of this world good! Our server was well informed, helpful and perfectly pleasant. Go,eat there and see for yourself.

The food was just okay. I sent the lobster bisque back, and they did take it off the tab. The manager came over to speak to us about it, which was nice. The restaurant had a nice ambiance.
